An Autumn Day in GENEVA

Hi Kaethi and Henri, It seems ages since last viewing one of your albums, since all the problems it seems everybody was holding back there work, I was away last weekend but did not have the sunshine that it looks as if you had, it must have been good to go home. I remember Geneva such a wonderful city, and from your photographs it still is, a wonderful trip. I am quiet proud of my geographical knowledge but I must confess that I did not realise that the River Rhone flowed through Geneva. So I learn something new again today, hope you are both well my friends, and with the very kindest of regards I wish you well, Ken

Bonjour Kaethi et Henri! Contente de vous voir de retour et avec de si belles photos! Vous nous manquiez déjà! J'aime beaucoup ce petit joyeau d'album que vous avez apporté! Il est bref, mais intense (comme on dit). Belles couleurs et beaux thèmes: des photos d'une excellente qualité! Comme toujours, les cygnes sont majestueux, et j'aime surtout la photo où ils sont à côté du grand bateau (quel contraste!). J'aime aussi 'l'histoire' de tous ces sympathiques animaux que vous nous présentez. Et ma photo préférée: la 13!!! avec cette diférence nette de couleur des deux fleuves qui se joignent! Bravo! Hi Kaethi and Henri! It was certainly a beautiful Autumn day in Geneva and I enjoyed the slideshow. I especially enjoyed all the swan photos and the beautiful fall colors of the leaves. Hope you have raked all your leaves; we are getting lots of wind today and a cool down from the 82 degrees we had yesterday, but that means more leaves to rake here. Have a happy day. Boujour Henri et Kaethi, Merci pour votre visite sur mon album d'automne, vous ne vous trompez pas en mentionnant que les feuilles sont tombées et j'ajouterais qu'au moment d'écrire ces lignes il neige sur Québec. Donc les photos d'hiver c'est pour bientôt mais en attendant je profite d'un petit répit après un automne assez actif sur le déclencheur de l'appareil photo! En effet j'ai eu la chance d'avoir plusieurs journées de beau temps durant mes congés et le résultat a été des mises à jours majeurs sur mes trois albums d'automne dernièrement. Je vois que chez vous l'automne a aussi décidé de se pointer chez vous, je vous souhaite du beau temps et que vous en profiterez au maximum pour nous apporter de nouvelles images bientôt. Michel

Hello Kaethi & Henri. This is another of your masterpieces.. Those shots of the Autumn Leaves are magnificent! Wonderful colours with the water background. So pleasing to see all those White Swans and the Peacock makes a lovely photo too. The Rhone is so tranquil and you have captured a wonderful shade of blue in the water. Wunderschöne Bilder, liebe Kaethi! Mir gefällt der Baum im Wasser so gut! Tolle Farben! Genf ist eine sehr schöne und interesante Stadt, wie ich hier sehe. Ich freue mich, dass ihr wieder da seid! Seid mir abgegangen. Bin schon gespannt auf euer anderes Album, dass ich mir heute nachmittag angucken werde! Viiiielen Dank für die Einladung. Ist wirklich eine Ehre fuer mich!! Habe auch nun endlich alle Mallorcafotos fertig gemacht und meine Alben total überarbeitet, dh. vieles rausgeschmissen und mit neuen ersetzt und alle Alben neu durchorganisiert. Auch habe ich nun endlich (nachdem man wieder hochladen kann bei webshots) meine Herbst-Alben fertig gemacht - es kann nun also der Winter kommen...war nur ein Scherz! *grins* Werde auch kommende Woche mein Bayern durch das ganze Jahr abschliessen, da fehlen noch ein paar Fotos, dann schliesst sich der Jahreskreis. Hello Kaethi & Henri! An interesting album of Geneva in fall season! I love seeing the bees are still working hard lately to prepare for the winter time, they are really gorgeous and I truly admire them. What really upset me is the bird flu! I keep wondering what human beings have done to the nature have kept causing troubles to all beautiful creatures, and this is truly a pity! I admire the beautiful swans swimming freely around the lake. Thank you very much dear friend for enjoying my balloon flight too! My best wishes to you for another wonderful fall season weekend! Hi Henri and Kaethi, I really love this wonderful album. My special favorites are all the autumn color shots, thru to the river and up to the sky. Absolutely beautiful. The whole album is a treasure. Another great journey on which you have taken me. Very pretty Autumn album. I only have the new Christmas album on, because I have a few more to take, at least one) and that will be after Thanksgiving. Hallo Heinz und Käthi, Diese Bilder sind alle so wundervoll! Ich habe sie mit sehr viel Vergnügen angeschaut. Nrs. 9, 10, 13, 23, und 27 sind meine Lieblings Bilder dieses Albums. Ich sehe aus diesen Bilder dass auch der Schweiz noch sehr schönes Wetter gehabt hat. Noch so viele Blumen blühen und werden von den Bienen besucht. Bei uns war es genau so. Bis vorige Woche hatten wir Temperaturen von 14C. Erst am Ende dieser Woche wird der Temp. sinken. Stimmt dass ich bald Geburtstag habe. Und ich bekomme diesmal ein sehr schönes Geschenk, denn es sieht danach aus dass es gut geklappt hat zwischen Caitie und Gepetto. Caitie ist rund den 20. November ausgerechnet wenn alles gut geht und nichts dazwischen kommt. Seit eine Woche nimmt sie jeder Tag ein wenig in Gewicht zu. Herzliche Grüsse, Els

Mes très chers amicaux Heinz et Kaethi, mille fois merci pour son amabilité extraordinaire dans ses commentaires qui sont toujours ceux plus ponctuels de de tous. Je ne puis pas leur correspondre comme ils se méritent par manque de temps, mais en échange, je les porte dans mon coeur et je leur rappelle toujours. Vous êtes extraordinaires et je les veux réellement. De cet album extraordinaire, mo'aiment toutes les photos avec des branches automnales face à la rivière. Dear Keathi and Henri, This is a beautiful album of all the autumn colours and Genenva looks a really nice city. The reflections in picture 13 are just fantastic :o) The composition of number 27 is just right framing the beautiful coloured water with the trees its just lovely. It was hard to spot the comorant in 29 but I did.
