I just revisited this [really beautiful]album. As well as your excellent choice of shots, and your fine sense of composition when shooting scenes, your picture commentaries are wonderful as well. Just a superb travelog! Very Sincerely, Gary in Seattle, USA

I have enjoyed your photos of the Pacific Northwest as that is where I am from originally. It is a very beautiful place with so much to see and explore. I have albums of these areas, too, if you are interested to see them. Your other albums have been very interesting, too, and I like all the descriptions of the places and people you have visited. I loved the photos. It showed me more of my lovely Northwest Wilderness that I live in. I live not too far from Mt. Hood in Oregon. Once again your photos are great.

Dear Jacques - I have been missing a masterpiece! This album is stunning - nearly every single shot. In general, my favorites are the ones around Mt. Hood (especially the one with the barn in front), and the photo of the gorge looking like a giant tongue sticking out, but all are magnificent. Bravo, my friend! Warmest hugs, Beth

#18 is a beautiful picture of "Foxglove" a digitalis species. Lupines are much shorter and bloom with multiple stems. Just thought you might want to know. I have been to Mt. Rainier several times and not seen it. It is beautiful when you can. Great pictures. Jim in Hurricane, UT and Longview, WA, USA

Jacques.I know I am very late in responding to this invitation. I have been travelling a lot on business and have had very little time to attend to anything else. But, coming back to the album, I can only marvel at the gorgeous shots you have taken in the wilderness. The flowers, the birds, the deer, the snow covered peaks of Mt.Helen, Mt.Hood are truly enchanting shots. I know you are a tireless seeker of beauty in nature. I am very impressed that you walked two hours in the wrong direction and still managed to take some very interesting cloud pictures. The wild flowers are truly impressive. The colours are so true and profusion of them is simply mindboggling. I particularly liked 16,24,32,43,53,61,71,95 and 110. But, the whole album is a priceless collection of outstanding images. Thank you so very much for sharing these. With very best wishes, Suresh

It looks like you made your trip at the most perfect time...still snow and lovely wildflowers. Wow! Both you and Pierre look fabulously happy and healthy. #86 of the Loop Tour is my most favorite shot in this album...I so hope you had the time of your lives on this last trip. Thanks so much for posting this fabulous journal of your trip. Lorrie

CIAO my Abominable Man of the Snows :D ! looking at this GREAT album it's really EASY to understand the reason of your love for those volcanic areas! Fantastic landscapes, incredible clouds (incredible... a mountain who create "rings" of smoke) and your fantastic macros (Like the FANTATSIC 43,44,45) placed everywhere to give more lightness at a WILD nature. Truly I'm full of plesure looking at this beauties, but I have also a bit of envy because I have see them only in a shot.... :-(. Anyway a shot it's a good point to plane a future visit and a GREAT hike (A dream......). My THANKS, a BIG ciao a my wish for a GOOD French supper (I think it's BETTER than eat cactus leafs :-D ). Bonjour, Jacques, A magnificent album -despite marginal weather you succeeded in getting many great shots. I took almost the identical trip a number of years ago (during SLR/film/scanner days). Your album brought back many fond memories of my trip and filled in with some great shots which I missed at the time. Congratulations on a great nature album! With my best regards and wishes, bruno

Dear Jacques, we've noticed this new album and decided to have a look.Beautiful mountain landscapes of which we like #11/16/26/37/47/53/54/61/ 64/68/76/95/101 and 110. They all have great compositions! Next we like the wild flowers in #13/31/62/70/72/74/84 and the roses in 86. The reflections in #17 and 19 are very well presented, and the birds in #43 and 45 are cute! But the excellent shots remain those of the Horsetail Falls #107/108 and 109!!!A marvel!!!We enjoyed watching this album and thank you for the show and interesting trip. Your friends from Japan, Gabriela & Yoshiyuki Tanaka
