  • Hi Gladys, Thanks so much for the note that you left for me. I am definitely loving my new home, but I still have a long way to go to get it settled! I keep getting sidetracked by trips to the local state park! Plus, today I went out and bought Colorado wildflower books to start scouting out locations for the spring! I have to start back to work next week & I'm really afraid that that is going to get in my way, too! :-) I'm glad to see that you're getting out and about and creating more of your wonderful wildflower albums! I always look forward to catching up with you! Have a very happy and blessed New Year, Lynn

  • Hi Gladys, thanks for the note about the blog text box. I was informed yesterday by WS support that the problem was fixed. It seems that they do need the assistance of members to solve problems but what's more important that this problem is behind us and hopefully all other problems will be solved soon. Wishing you a wonderful weekend, Yair.

  • Hi Gladys, Isn't it wonderful to get out and about and be able to share the experiences through photos! I do love to "go bush" with you through your great images. The grass tree was interesting. There used to be some on the farm bush block here in the Adelaide Hills. Slow-growing my dh said. Is that right? BTW, when you have some spare time, would you mind visiting my album called A Few Wet Flowers and Some Dry? I put some cactus and their flowers in there from the roadside at Springton. I checked on the net and I think they might be prickly pear and should be reported. Would you know, please? Joyce from Adelaide

  • Hi Gladys, thank you so much for your help with webshots help desk. You have beautiful shots of spectacular scenery. Your pictures are very inviting to take a car and just…drive! Beautiful countryside! Presently, while I am writing this note, my daughter with son in-law are on the way to Australia for 6 weeks touring around the East Coast. Going back to my problems…. I do not that my entry will appeared here....this very frustrating to be unable to respond to friends comments. I am afraid that people think that I forget about that simply manner called a courtesy! Gladys, thank you again for your understanding…My kind regards, Rafal

  • Hi Gladys, thanks for visiting my Bulls of Tel-Aviv. As for the text box problem: I reported this problem in the blog and following your request I also contacted the support team. Let's hope this time it will be more fruitful. Best wishes, Yair.

  • Hi Gladys, Regarding your comment on the blog about the textbox: Several people (including myself) have reported on this problem in the blog, without any response. You would expect someone in Webshots to update their technicians and support team on this problem, but from your words I realize that this hasn’t happened. I’m afraid our comments in the blog have very little influence. Take care, Orly

  • Hello Gladys, there's no denying the beauty of the south west of WA. Such lovely bush and scenery, and always the native vegetation and flowers. You do it proud with your photos, and I love the concept of Roadside Stops, since every one of them was worthy of a pause along the way. A beautiful album; best regards from Keith in the East.

  • Hi Gladys. It's good to see a bit more of your trip. You certainly got out in the sticks. Your Gairdner River photos are goodAs you have probably worked out by now I like water photos. In number 30 the seed cones remind me of those spikey thinks the knights had on the end of their clubs. I enjoyed the series of paintings about the early days of Jerramangup. It's a nice pigface in #36 and a couple of others. They are terrific shots of the Dumbleyung hotel. The Lake Dumbleyung photos are another lot of goodies. Re the giant ram at Wagin, we have one at Goulbourn. Another very good album Gladys and I thank you for sharing it. Catch you later. Hugs Al

  • Hello Gladys, Round Leaf Pigface now that gives a lot of thoughts as to who that was named after, a very pretty colour indeed, A good travel album of which it is obvious that you made plenty of stops along the way, It seems odd to see spring flowers when we are in the end of autumnand the start of the winter, all this week we have had sharp frostsat night, just about killed off all the last remants of summer flowers. We in general do not have to cold a winters, and in our part of the country very little snow, I do hope that I have not tempted the fates by saying that. Thanks for the Gb always good to hear from you Take care and don't alow that sun to bleach you to much lol kind regards Ken

  • Hi Gladys, This is a very interesting album for at least two reasons. It's wonderful to see these beautiful and extremely unusual (at least for North Americans) flowers. The second reason is that some of the pictures are so similar to pictures of the American west at the turn of the 20th century. It's like looking back into our own history to an earlier and simpler time. The introduction of sheep into at least some of the American west was an ecological disaster leading to over grazing, loss of vegetation and erosion and resulting bloody conflicts between sheepherders and cattle ranchers. I hope that hasn't been the case in Australia. Thanks for the beautiful and historic trip. Greetings from Florida, Paul.

  • Hello Gladys! Again a wonderful display of native plants, thanks! But we also appreciate the history of Jerragmungup with the instructive comments; and of course the beaches and waves of the beautiful lake. Favorites of special plants: "Buds and Seed cones", the lichen and Green Spider Orchid! Thanks for your nice words for our door knockers! With love, Henri and Käthi
