Hi Randy! Love your album from Oregon. I hope you have a great time in NE and the weather cooperates with you. Thanks for the photo message in my album under "sharonmyphotos!" To answer your question, yes, we have tried using polarizing filters and many others back when we used the 35mm camera. We don't mess with them much anymore since we use digital cameras and I don't think we're going to be buying a SLR digital anytime soon. I really appreciate the tips though. Have a great Sunday. Some outstanding captures in this album, Randy. Taken with your new camera? Just got back from a road trip through Napa Wine Country in Calif, and up 101 along the coast. It was a HOT week, but perfect weather along the Oregon Coast, of course. Thanks for the comment in my Rodeo Album. All photos were taken with my 75-300mm IS - as I was seated on the opposite end of the action. Thanks for passing my site on to Chris at Shutterbug - I also know her, and she sold me my lenses!!!!! Randy..I can see why this is such a popular album..Sure brings back memories of my drive along the coast..See some of the same places I visited but as I was rushed I didn't get the opportunity to spend that much time..I see that Jane made a comment...she loves the Oregon Coast & has some awesome albums herself..Thanks for sharing & for bringing back many fond memories of my trip to Oregonj...God Bless from Texas...Ken

Lovely photos. I like your shots of Yaquina Head. I was there many years ago. I dont even remember for sure what camera I had. Other then I think it was a point and shoot. Hi Randy, You are a really good photographer. I love your photos of the Oregon Coast as it is one of my favorite places in the world. I have been there a few times as two of my kids live in Portland. I appreciate you adding me as a favorite user. I would like to spend an extended time period on the coast instead of just the drive through that does not allow one to get the best photos. I really was appreciative of the explanation you gave of the hike at Heceta Head lighthouse to get those photos from behind. I will do it whenever I get back there. Thanks so much. As soon as I saw rjmeyer in your guest book I knew you would have some great pictures. Will be out in Newport OR again at Easter (my parents live there). You have some nice Yacquina and Otter Inn shots. I was also surprised to see that you were in Germany from 78-80. We were in Frankfurt at the same time you were in Wiesbaden (or Lindsey Air Station?). I worked in Frankfurt in the Abrams Building for the Army Continuing Education System. We may have been at the same Fasching parade. Thanks for looking at my pictures.
