Enjoyed your photos. I was there 15 years ago and would certainly like to return. In Montana we have Glacier Park but it pales in comparison to Jasper with it's mighty mountains and incredible waterfalls which you captured well. The animals beside the road are sheep. The mountain goats are white shaggy creatures with smaller, more spiky black horns. If the little cutie in the rocks resembled a hamster it was probably a pika. Di in MT

Hello and congrats on featured album. I have really enjoyed viewing your photos. Myself and my family drove through both Banff and Jasper in 2004 when we moved from Alaska to the lower 48. Just wish that we could have spent much more time there then what we did. I think your little critter in photo 71 is a peaka. Not sure on the spelling. And it looks like the Mt Sheep are licking and eating the dirt for the salt and other minerals that are in it. We would see them in Alaska licking the roads allot of the time in the winter and other times of the year for the same thing. Any ways. I really enjoyed the photos. They are really great and thanks for sharing them.

Bruce - these are wonderful, and so different from what we saw in '99. No one was swimming in Moraine Lake even tho' the air was warm. Kootenay National Park and the Icefields Pkwy offer such beautiful scenery. Wouldn't you just like to stay there for a long time with your camera? I love this part of Canada. It is so beautiful I could and have spent days there. I love the deer, elk and goats.
