• leah and i took a night train nov 23 and arrved in zurich thanksgiving morning
  • we checked into the hostel and then walked around zurich awhile...its the most gorgeous city
  • leah and i decided to go to the zurich zoo... these flamingos must have been freezing

  • thanksgiving night we went to starbucks and then to see harry potter and the goblet of fire
  • i love christmas lights and snow
  • the next morning we decided to go to maienfeld and liechtenstein
  • when we got off the train, there was no one at maienfeld.. just a random man was riding a horse
  • we eventually found an open store in maienfeld and this nice lady told us that all the heidi stu
  • so we walked up to the heidi house in the snow.. a long walk but lots of good snowflakes to eat

  • because liechtenstein has no train station, we took a train to buchs and then a bus to vaduz
  • the church in vaduz.. we got off the bus and had no idea where to go
  • we found the tourist office and went into the stamp museum they had
  • afterwards, we shopped a little and walked through the old part of town as the fog began to lift
  • the old town part of vaduz, the capital of the smallest principality in the world
  • the cobblestone streets were really narrow and somewhat icy
  • when we first entered the winery, we asked for a wine sample and the guy abruptly poured us some
