Hello there, thanks for visiting my "Niagara Falls" album and leaving a comment (even though not the most positive, anyway).Many professional photographers use special effect filters to enhance color saturation or just to change the overall mood of the scenery. http://www.thkphoto.com/products/hoya/cef-07.html I also enhanced some of my photos to look they best or so was the idea.The main subject of those photos are the Falls and the skies (enhanced)are there just for more dramatic effect. I also included the unaltered photos just in case someone doesn't like the "enhanced ones". As you noted the photos #1 and #13 are pretty identical (except the sky)and also #3 and #12 .If you look around in Webshots especially in pro section you will find that almost all photos are enhanced there one way or the other ( by software or special effect filters) The lesson here is that nowadays nobody really has the time to sit around the hill and wait for that perfect sunset or sunrise so you help yourself with filters or software. It doesn't mean you will turn a bad photo into a good one, just that you can make a good photo look a little better. Anyway I am talking too much ,I just want to say I am sorry I'm not a baseball guy you have so many great pictures here! ( I like Hockey)but I still enjoyed your Grand Canyon slide show.
