Hi Suresh, I have spent a very enjoyable two hours studying this album and researching some questions that it brought to mind. Your photos are elegant - whether of churches, temples, scenery, or people. The commentary is not only educational, but captivating as well. I feel so blessed to be able to travel with you via Webshots. Carol

Wow! Really wonderful and you have been featured, too, congratulations! I am happy for you because I am so interested in Goa. The architecture is nicely Portuguese sometimes.. And I am crazy about Madeira, just came back from there again. Would love to see Goa and more of your fantastic country. It would be really different and colourful. Guess I lack the patience for long flights. But your album really is fantastic and inviting. I see you have told me to keep the number of the pictures in an album under 60. Does this still apply?? Making my new albums of Madeira, let's see if I have learnt anything in a year. Must choose another user name again, oh my! Regards from amidst the snowy Finland, Merike

Bonjour Suresh, Very pleasant to remake the trip to Goa with Your nice images; I wonder to know how You can offer us so rich and instructive captions; It was for me a great pleasure to discover everything with history details that I did not know; De Monte hill seems to be a place not to miss and we missed it; I love also the flower sailer in 20, the rocky cove 27, and the awesome picture of the church Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, my master piece for that album, which has a perfect composition well balanced by the chance of a reverse sky structure; The leading image is also a marvel! Thank You Suresh and congratulations, Jacques

Hello Suresh, This is a magnificent album - both beautiful and historic. I love architecture and it's a great joy for me to see such beautiful western and eastern structures in such close proximity. I too have had some problems with underexposure using my D70, but have always been able to overcome them with computer software. It doesn't happen always, but I have not had the discipline to track down the circumstances under which underexposures do occur. I almost always use the shutter priority mode with a very narrow spot metering at 400 ISO and maybe some or all of those settings have something to do with it. Greetings from Florida, Paul. P.S. Thank you for your very kind words on my Lowry Zoo album. By the way, I still think the Pa-O girl in your Burma album is one of the finest shots in all of Webshots!

Dear Suresh, I must have missed this wonderful album while I was away for the holidays. You have done a beautiful job here, and thank you for the history lesson too. I never expected to see so much Western influence in India. I am always learning from you, my friend. Thank you also for your kind words in my Caribbean album. Your last shot here makes me long to be back on tropical sands! Warmest regards from California, Beth

Thank you for taking me to a part of India that I knew very little about. If it is half as beautiful as your images, then I truly regret missing it. Al from Ponemah

Dear Suresh, WOW! Yes Goa is also on my list of places to travel in the near future and yes I have always wanted to see her sights, churches and especially the beaches - I am even more inspired now and very impressed with the way you captured this awesome place. The churches, temples and cathedral are phenomenal examples of intricate architecture and the landscape is something else! Suresh, this is an exceptional advertisement for Goa... a travelogue the local tourist centre would be proud of. Thank you, again, for sharing through your eyes - your photographic brilliance is appreciated. Ann, Australia.

Hello Suresh, Thanks for the invitation. It's a wonderful album of Goa that you have produced. Goa is a complete unknown area for me, so I'm glad that you gave me the opportunity to learn the country a bit thanks to your beautiful photos. The cathedral is magnificent and the various temples as well. I like the vivid atmosphere of the Mapusa market, an ideal spot for great pictures. And thanks to the comments you added I learned a bit about the history of the place as well. Well done! I wish you and your family a merry christmas and a happy new year. Greetings, Tjebbe

Thanks for this invite to these remarkable churches. Your commentary is very informative and I just love to read the history of places. It is amazing what man builds in the name of their deities. Great captures! Have a good holiday Suresh! Eti

Namashkar Suresh Bhai! A truly great album! I have always been fascinated by Goa since my childhood! My Class teacher at St. Mary's was Sister Francisca from Goa. She used to tell us a lot about Goa particularly about St. Francis of Issi and his embalmed undecomposed body in a glass casket. Later I'm told a hand was taken away to the Vatican. Maybe someday I make it to Goa myself! Thanks for the tour. Jai Ramji ki!! Samad from Pakistan

Hi Suresh, what a wonderful album of Goa. I have been there twice, and have seen all the temples and churches you photographed so well. It was like a real nostaligic journey for me. I was especially pleased to see the place of my family's deity, the beautiful Mangeshi temple, but also enjoyed seeing the Shantadurga temple. Your street portraits are marvellous as well. And the beaches, the fortress, the Portuguese architecture ... well, I say no more. Kind regards, Marjon

Goa..... When I was children I have read some books where the name of this city was present... it was in my mind like a door to a far, strange and exotic world. Thanks to show me that place and for that great virtual tour beetween its history and beauties!! For me it is like a tour with a time machine...... THANKS and a BIG CIAO!!! Ruggero

Hi Suresh! Thank you for another wonderful and unique tour. Goa is famous in Israel for its beaches and parties, but from your photos and comments we can marvel its amazingly rich history and culture. You have elegantly captured the beauty of the churches and temples, both from inside and outside. Your people shots are great as always, esp the flower seller and the market scenes. Finally, magnificent images of the beaches. One can understand the tourists who flock there! It seems that Goa has it all and I hope you enjoyed your time there. Best wishes, Orly

Dear Suresh, I share the same feeling with Caterina (below) so do not need to repeat. I only want to thank you for showing photos from Iceland, the island country that I went in 1997, long before the digital photography has become a norm like now. Besides, when in Iceland I broke my small Rollei camera, so I have very few photos from that memorable visit. By the way, when you have time you are welcome to visit the photo website of WASWC that I am taking care - not very beautiful like yours, but informative about the work in soil and water conservation. With my best wishes and look forward to seeing more of your nice photos taken from far away places, Samran
