Dear Galit, First of all I want to wish you and your family a very Happy New Year! Thanks for visiting my Christmas album on December 29, 2005. I was very glad to hear from you. I do not have much time either these last months as well as for the next months. Because my parents, who are >90, have decided to move out of their home and will move to a new home in Zwolle (the city where I live)and we will help them with all the arrangements that go along with this move. But I will try to keep up with your new albums as good as possible, but sometimes it will take awhile before I react. I love the pictures in this album, especially #1, 3, 6 and 7. The light is beautiful! My latest album is to be seen at the wely246 site and it is about new life too. Our lady rat Caitie gave birth to 7 rittens last week, and as I did with the previous nests we had with Skylar and Amelie (also to be seen at this site), I will picture their growing up till they are 5 weeks old. Hi Galit, my visit to Jerusalem was to take pictures of the candles in Hanukkah and it was woth doing that in spite of the very heavy traffic on that day. I know that WS had a backlog of messages due to New Year's weekend. Some of the non-Premium members' medssages arrived in up to 5 days delay! I do not think it's a reasonable delay but I can live with that. I still have the problem with the statistics. I added one pictures to my Owls album on 29/12 and the statistics is frozen since. The same with my featured album a week ago - I only changed the album title and since then no views for a whole week. Of course the Hanukkah album is still on 0 views but it's relatively new - only since Sunday... I hope these will be our only problems in life. I wish you a wonderful week. Take care, Yair.

Dear Galit, I have NO problem whatsoever with having a Christmas album. Actually I had plans of making an album on Christmas celebrations in Nazareth, just like I have made albums on Christian holy places. I had guessed that you may have celebrated Christmas as a child. I think that since you have moved between cultures (and obviously met with ignorance on both sides), you don't make a big deal of things. However, it's really NOT funny when people are unaware of the existence of different cultures, and sometimes it's truly offensive. I know that some people today adopt foreign holidays giving it the same depth of thought as they do for adopting a new hairstyle. I don't think it's very respectful for Christianity or for any other religion. Anyway, these trends have led to much confusion. I have to disagree with you, MANY people naively belive that Christmas is universal. I don't think we should contribute to that confusion. Thank you for your quick reply to my message, and don't worry about the others. I wish you a very happy Hanukkah too, and a Merry Christmas to all your family and friends who celebrate it.
