This (originally named Graton Bridge) was built by & dedicated (July 1, 1990) to my day, Milton S. Graton in memory of all the covered bridge building, moving and repair work he had accomplished in the last few decades of his life. Pauline Calley, a very dear neighbor, unfortunately did not live long enough to attend the delivery and dedication of what she had instigated in our home town, Ashland, New Hampshire. Polly & Roger Calley and both my parents, Milton & Doris Graton are now observing everything from an even more beautiful place - heaven. The Calleys had to have been the greatest neighbors in this world.
