Hi Stan. I've seen lots of photos in and around Yosemite but there is just something special about yours. Somehow you seem to see scenes from a different perspective and get different angles for a lot of your shots. This is always what makes photos stand out and I compliment you on that. Hi Stan, I stumbled on one of your entries in another G/B where you mentioned Yosemite...so I had to visit your albums. Like many others here, Yosemite is one of my most favorite places in the whole world & until a few months ago I lived a few hours away! Since Nov. I have been living in Colorado, so now it will take a little longer to get there (unless I fly!) So, for now, I will just thoroughly enjoy Yosemite through your eyes! I've visited in the spring, summer, and fall...but not winter. This album is incredibly beautiful! Thanks for the tour!! God bless, Lynn

I am a huge fan of Yosemite - my favourite national park in the States and have been fortunate enough to visit three times (good considering I live in New Zealand!). Therefore it is always a pleasure to see photos of this place and your three albums are excellent! I am delighted to see that there is not too much snow around in winter also :) Regards, Kate

Good Morning Stan. I don't know how this album got passed me! My favorite place on the earth other than Yellowstone and the Tetons! You have some great images here and I enjoyed them all. I will be making a trip in the fall this year with a friend. Our husbands did not want to "tag" along since her and I do photography and hike. The guys don't do either! lol I have only been once to the park and that was June 2004 so I am looking forward to the fall splendor, even though I know the falls will be less. Thanks for the journey. Just a quick question_when your photos say edited does mean a slight alteration or major changes? Wondered what type of editing you did in this album. Hard to fool with mother nature.

Hi Stan! Thank you for your kind words in my guessbook. I roamed Internet searching for inspirational pictures for paintings.This quest helped to rapidly educate my sight even if i had art education long before.I downloaded about a dozen of your great pictures. Berries, clouds, seas,flowers, forest cascades etc. I use those pictures to compose paintings with out copying. Youre a prolific photographer with many interests.Thank you for sharing. I found membership at Trekearth. com most helpful for the beginner photographer I am. Youre lucky to have such wonderfull nature in your area; It is an unlimited source of inspiration. Hi Stan, Yosemite has to be my favorite place on earth and your beautiful pictures show why. I particularly like your opening shot (I'm fairly sure is the top of Half Dome taken from Glacier Point) and that little chapel in the valley. What a beautiful structure! Hi! Thank you so much for liking my pictures from Sorrento. In this album I have taken some from my own country. I can only get 240 pics in one album.. Wish I had the courage to use a credit card in the net! Your featured flowers were awesome!! I have never seen a Gingko biloba YELLOW. Guess it is in the autumn then.
