Cairo looks very invating in your presentation...excellent mood of the visited places can be seen on every picture. Definately lower Egypt will be in our future travel plans. L'Egitto è da sempre un luogo magico e carico di storia.... bellissimo il modo in cui ci hai portato dal più lontano passato ai giorni nostri. Dear Mike! First, I`m sorry not to have spent this day together with you in Cairo, it would have been great fun.. I just love your night-shots, they are just brilliant..Nr.39,40 and 42-44 are all my very favorites!! Great idea to bring your tripod, even if it`s a little boring to fix it up.. Very nice photos. Excellent quality. But no pictures of the women. I was there once about 10 years ago - we crash-landed at West Cairo Airbase after flying over the Great Pyramids and about 3000 miles of Sahara. It was freezing that day and we only had desert (light weight) uniforms. Because the plane could not be fixed and we were all hungry and tired, we went into town and our hotel was bombed by terrorists - Feb 1993. So my memories of Cairo were not as pleasant as your photos depict. I would love to visit there sometime in the future. Mike

Hi Mike, Thanks for your kind words on my Havana albums. If you get a chance, do visit that city. You won't regret it. I hope I can visit it once more because three days in Havana is far to short. I admired your Cairo album. I loved no. 21 Out of order, it could be Havana. The pictures of the Bazaar and the sunset pictures I loved the best.
