Winter scenes around Aspen, Colorado

Dear Suresh, What a pleasant album full of the light and purity; Only fresh immaculated snow can bring this strange silence of frozen things and this sweet but vivid atmosphere full of light and breathtaking air; I have looked quitly at all the pictures and recognized the beautiful mountains of Aspen even covered by snow (we have been there 2 times in Summer, and it is also beautiful); The Marron Bells, in their typical stratified shape make a wonderful scenery, most in Autumn with the yellow colours of Aspen trees in fall; I will see again this album to comment the photos; I should have loved to see my Friend Suresh on skis! Hi Suresh! Thank you for this delightful tour. I do feel the silent and sweet atmosphere Jacques talked about. Each and every photo is just wonderful, and I can't believe you took them during a skiing trip (even if you weren't actually skiing all the time...). You have captured the peaks with all their majesty, found beautiful colors in the trees and bare rocks among the snow, and also managed to use difficult visibility conditions to capture the winter mood. Years ago I was caught in a blizzard on a chair lift at the beginning of its ascent and endured the entire trip to the peak of the mountain and the descent back in horrific cold conditions - never wanting to see snow again! Hi there Suresh. This is a good album, showing some nice wintery scenes. When you say about me climbing to get the photos of the puffins, thats not so I'm afraid to say. I am in a wheelchair, those photos were taken from a low spot in the wall that borders the cliffs. I have a 10x optical zoom on the camera I have at the moment, which is handy. 1'm thinking about getting a 6mp, 12x optical zoom camera, but not sure. Dera Suresh, WOW! Well you know you have my attention as soon as I see the mountains LOL Rather bigger than I would ever contemplate getting up though me thinks ;o) I do know my limits. Thanks so much for stopping by my Via Ferrata pictures I know its not for everyone and I doubt we would have done it in wet weather if we weren't booked on with all of our friends To be honest we really didn't notice the rain as we were concentrating so hard on not slipping on the wet rock. I'm sure we will do it again one day in better weather. We have a weekend trip planned to the Lake district next weekend so I'm hoping for some sun at least for part of it but we'll see I won't get too hopeful as I know what happens.
