Really nice photo's of my home town, great to see it here today, thanks! Just one quick geography lesson though :-) The first photo is a view of Camps Bay, Cape Point is about 20 miles further on and the Falls are not in South Africa. It's part of Southern Africa, but Zimbabwe is between South Africa and Zambia, the Victoria Falls are on there border.

Hello Giancarlo, congratulations on a super featured album today. I visited Cape Town in 50's & it is an amazing place. Looking at your other albums, you have travelled a lot as we have. Particularly enjoyed the Zambia shots as we lived there for 3 years & finished with a visit to Victoria Falls. I lived in South Africa for many years in Johannesburg and we used to fly to Capetown for long weekends and I loved it I actually climbed Table Mountain up and down I miss my time there but love living here in Venezuela we are here for the next 4/5 years and it is fun place also..Maybe one day I will make it back there or I might even make it home to my original home which is Canada.....

I've been to SA (my folks lived in Cape town)and enjoyed seeing Table mountain with the "table cloth" on. We lived under Lion's head mountain. I am new to Web Shot postings, and will share some up-close shots of lionesses once my scanner is working. They were taken with conventional film methods,therefore digitizing them requires a bit of work. Really like your work. Keep it comming. ABI
