  • Hi Lorrie, first your photo's do do justice, the story and the passion is all it needs, I am so glad you had a wonderful time it really shows, and if anybody ever needed it you certainly did. I can see you will be telling some TALL!!! stories about your knowledge of Giraffes, and I see you found a fellow with a hat at the end, take car B'wana or what ever the female form of that word is, hugs Ken

  • Hi Lorrie, This is really a beautiful album! And a happy gang at the end :) And I am sure it is going to be featured! You sure have an eye for details and composition. And your photos are very sharp and colourful! I looked at it with the slideshow. I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your very kind comments in my featured gb. It was such a surprise for me to see it featured and on the first of April :) Regards, Yan/Ottawa

  • Hi, Lorrie; These are such amazing photos! Have you thought of creating a photoblog to tell the story of your adventure in addition to show your wonderful photos?

  • Hi Lorrie, I'm back! All the preparations for the Passover-family-happening is over and so are the first days of Passover. Time is now much easier. I even had some time for myself. I have answered all the feature-fan-mail, but there are always a lot of new ones to respond. I found so many new sites, so many wonderful photos and so many great people due to the 'feature'. Sorry you had a PC-crash! About the worst thing I can imagine. I never had your e-mail, so there is not where to send mine. :-) I hope you had some how backed up your pictures?!? I like your new albums very much. Maybe sometimes, when we see something incredible we are disappointed when the wonderful flair of those days does not reflect in the pictures, because they are only pictures and not what our mind is keeping of that time.:-) I love those birds, especially #3 between those tremendous cacti!!!!, Your people pictures - and the captions to it, especially the 'meeting of the minds'. Your scenery captures are just WOW, especially the herd of wildebeest in pic#15. And I like your mind letting the lion cub say: 'hey mom, what is that?' Just lovely! I am happy you liked in my 'wattle' album the picture of the Star pine framed by the other two trees in the neighborhood. It was just wired. I was running to work and at a place were I usually look on my feet, not to miss the steps, I looked up and saw this. My first thought actually was: Wow, you have grown up!! and I meant that Star pine tree, which I remembered small just peaking over the roof. :-) time goes by too quickly and I always run too much after whatever!-- And now I HAVE to run to the next album! - :-) Galit

  • Hello Lorrie, well I enjoyed all your Tanzania albums. Great animals & scenery. I was worried though when I looked through the guest books & did not find my previous message! untill I realized you have split the albums between your two names. Not to worry about the small photos they still tell the story, good work. Eric

  • Hi Lorrie. I really enjoyed this wonderful album. I have been in Tanzania in 1995 and it was a great experience. These photos brought back some great memories. I went to Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro and of course being from Denmark we visited Karen Blixen's farm. Best wishes Ingrid
