What a fantastic day out I do hope you were rocking with them all on the dance floor :o)I just missed out on that era I was just too young to really be rolling but I tried to make up for it later ;o)I just love all that shiny chrome and your interior shots were great too. Hello Lorraine,WOW ROCK 'N ROLL!!!I like it so much.I'm a great music lover,I can't get through a day without music.This Rock 'n Roll Rendezvous must have been so beautiful.And with all those shining old cars!WOW!Those were the days.You took us back to the 50's and 60's with this wonderful album.The only thing I regret is that we weren't be able to hair the music!But maybe next year it will be possible to hear that when you click the photo with all these changes in Webshots!But that's progress!Thank you for sharing this back in the time album with us and I'm sure that many youngsters from the age of 50,and others too,will love this album.Best wishes,Henri and Josee/Belgium

Hi Lorraine! Thank you so much for being the first person signing my Baía do Seixal guestbook, and for your always so nice words about it. Yesterday I went for another walk and you can't imagine what beautiful clouds there were there! And tide was full! So light was completely different... I had to capture it! I had promised my friend that this time I wouldn't stop for taking pictures... well, I couldn't keep my promise... And, of course, I must put it here one of these days, lol. Betty Boop (I'm fan!) winking was already a promise of what was coming next. Let's dance! I loved to see all these beautiful vehicles, from the english police car, passing by that shining FJ, the sportifs... ohhhhh, an old jukebox! So nice! What memories I have of it too... those crazy and livened up times of rock and roll. If I try it now I will drop dead after a minute! Photo number 20 reminds me of my old Vauxall, the first car I had! It died at 21 years old (a tire's break, if it wasn't for that I believe it would still run!). Oh God, these outdoors dancing photos bring me memories from my childhood, bigger people was dancing and I was running and playing with my friends... but I remember the songs so well! A Buich... and even a drive in! Unhappily this fashion never entered in Portugal. Oliveira Salazar was a very old fashioned man, beyond other things... this things were against "moral and good family traditions". I loved everything, the magnificent cars, all that happy people "shaking the helmets", everything. Thank you so much for sharing these happy images and bringing back to me such nice times. Hi Lorraine, what a nostalgic album, brings back lots of memories, I was fortunate or unfortunate whichever way you look at it, to have lived through the real Rock n Roll era, the cars the girls dresses and even the picture of the woman in the picture desparately trying to keep her flared dress from swiling around her neck.lol, and of course the good old Jive. Happy Days of Youth instead of the Grumpy old man Tag I get from my wife. Wonderful album, well take good care and keep these beautiful albums coming, Ken. ps I'm also Saxonfenken

G'day Lorraine. Ah yes, the 50's. I remember them occasionally and am reminded again by your new album. I had a '59 Chevrolet Bel Air with the extreme fins of the day. It had a really spacious back seat as I remember. Loved that car but traded it in on a newer Caprice in 1970. Wish I still had it! Thanks for the memories. Have a great day! Jim

<font color="navy"> Lorraine, what a *blast* this album is - a winner for sure! I had to chuckle at some of the get-ups and the cars are gorgeous. We have an antique car 'gang' that meets every week only a couple of miles away in a bank parking lot (maybe called a car park 4 U) but it's no where near as pretty as where this annual affair is held. I can almost hear the beat of the music from here!
