Hello Marita, wonderful album, thank you sincerely for all your guestbook entries they are all appreciated greatly, I am finding it difficult to make time to thank everyone so I am sorry I am so late replying to you all, also I go away on vacation to U.S.A. and Canada on April 11th until May 31st, I will try and keep up a little on my laptop while I am away but no one will be forgotten anyway and I will catch up more on my return, take care and keep well, Happy Easter hugs Ann (Chester England)

Beautiful Beautiful Ranch. I just love seeing the old trees and the blue bonnets. But I must say that happy cows come from California. Maybe us happy cows should meet up in the middle somewhere and bring joy to the rest of the west with a drink or two. Take care

I always love it when you visit, it means a lot...I am recovering from some bug that put me down over Christmas & the New Year, getting back to normal (what ever that is) So I will be around more often...Big Hugs My Friend, Grizz

Hi Marita, you have a great album here. The wild flowers were colourful, the cows very cute, the bulls intimidating and the sceneries fresh and green. I wish you all the best for the shadow contest. We are quite busy already on the Maid of the Mist, I suppose that I should put together some photos for an album on Niagara Falls! and let you see what I see everyday! Thanks for your recent visit. I am keeping well but Gwen is back in hospital with swollen ankles that some specialists are looking at. Some problems with the heart, runs in her family. I am also busy with gardening as the weather has turn warm suddenly. Hope that you are keeping well and that your folks visit has been a success. Regards from Paul in Canada.

Wonderful this album Marita!!! I LOVE COWS too...what a pleasure to have a ranch and your talent for so many things young lady. Sorry Ted (torretab) clumsy fingers here deleted your message!: Holy Cow Marita, thought I'd left a message here since I've been throught this whole collection several times, but guess life has just been in hyper-speed for me, hehe!! Wonderful presentation and captures of the simple beauty of the ranch and calm way of life country living can bring!!! Love all your titles, so funny and fitting so well (each takes on a personality)! Many Thanks my friend for sharing the Joys (and Juices) from your wonderful day there!! Also, I really appreciate your kind comments throughout my F&F collection Marita, it was very thoughtful!! Yes, I was a little nervous knowing "My Son" was on that track too, but what can you say to a 28 year old except, "Be Safe" (and Pray A Lot)!! Well, lunch is over, so I'll chat with you later!! Hello Marita, I believe you were the one that secured the photo of the poison oak/ivy on one tree I had shot at the cemetery in Norway, NOW you know the difference. Had a friend once that was driving out of the woods, passing by a state trooper picking branches with the shiny red leaves still attached and putting them all in his trunk. He stopped and asked what he was doing, said that he was picking the shiny red leaves to take home for his wife, why? he asked. Well, unless you're not allergic to poison oak, I'll let you go, but if you are, better let me get rid of them for you!! I'm glad that you can see the difference and I could help. Take care and best regards. Ron/Oregon Coast

Liebe Marita, So nice to see the longhorns coming home. I like the comments you write by every photo, its like reading a book. The cows are looking great and the calves are cute. I don’t like the marks on their ears, it means pain for the calves and it is very ugly to be marked by a number! Yes I’m sure the Texas cows are living in heaven, so beautiful the flowering fields in yellow and blue! I think its also heaven for you, to be free in nature :-) Have a nice weekend, take care and a big hug, Joke

I had better not let my son see this album. He lives on a fair sized block up in the hills east of Perth and already has horses, chooks and an alpacca - oh and half a dozen sheep. If he sees this he'll be thinking of getting a few cows, I just know it! Great work mate, despite what they say about never working with children or animals you have excelled. You have also written some lovely comments in the GB of my new Southern Ocean album - thanks a heap for that. Now you get some idea of what you DIDN'T see when you were here drinking Fremantle dry! Goodonya mate, great to hear from you again and I'll catch you real soon. Hugs, Peter

Dear Marita, It is good to hear from you again. I'm glad you found our Princess smart enough to pool up for the President's "throne". For the (Orthodox) Easter, end of April we went to Romania to see our friends and family, but now I'm back and had some time to peep into the Webshots world again. You konw, I think I was on the roof of your car when you where driving through the countryside: it is so vivid and awesome. And for cows I have some special feelings, I spent some time of my young life with them. Thanks for such a delightful viewing. Hugs, Irina

Hi Marita, thanks for your wonderful words in my Jacaranda album. It is such a beautiful tree. This year the bloom is absolutely smashing! Someone said to me the most beautiful bloom you can see in South Africa. I saw pictures. Beside them I can only hide my poor trees. I think Webshots opens us the world so wide. And it is so easy to travel with Webshots! Thanks for the Mother's day greetings. We celebrate it on an other day and then it is a family day! Happy Mother's day to you too! You asked about that bird! That is really his name. As I know you know German: here his German name, it is a Wiedehopf! :-) Have a nice day! Galit

Hi Marita, at last I am back and see you have been busy meanwhile! Life at a ranch for sure is not a picnic! Most probably it is hard work for everyone. Maybe it is easier than years ago, but still not to compare to a desk-job! Your pictures are beautiful. Many of them show the signs of spring in wonderful bloom. So many wildflowers!! Oh yes, your cows are happy, for sure! As always I am very impressed by your captions! I am still laughing! Have a wonderful day! Galit

Hi Marita! Thanks for the g/b message and photo messages in my bird album. Now we've both had a few good chuckles this morning. Hello Marita, I've heard of the 'cows coming home' Texas style, usually a couple thousand head stirring up the trail, but your photos show a more 'up close and personal', names too. Sounds more like a petting zoo here. Interesting notations throughout, slobbering through the day. I could only imagine. Had to drive through a bunch of cows one day to visit a friend and one of the cows freaked out and kicked my truck. No, I didn't honk, but must've been moving too fast through the group. Interesting album you have here. But, I also wanted to thank you for visiting my Featured album and leaving such nice comments within my guest book entries. A surprise to me in the morning hours while opening my email, finding a long list of folks from all over the place. Best regards and thanks again. Greetings from the Oregon Coast. Ron

However, what seems far worse - camera got damaged yesterday so NOT doing too well! Will e-mail you soon. Many thanks again. Luv 'n big hugs from SA, Sue

I can't help but go "moo" in my head whenever I see cows!! Sometimes, it doesn't just stay in my head! I was away camping for the w/end in Kingscliff which is on the NSW coast just south of the Qld border. Have got a few pics to put on soon! Meanwhile, while camping, I got bitten by an ant and am now itching like crazy. I've got little rashes on my arms and I suspect my legs too. Antihistamines aren't quite getting rid of them! Have no idea whether I've just reacted really badly to the bite or whether I'm reacting to something else as well. But whatever it is, it is driving me INSANE!!! But none of this is as crazy as your Barcelona trip!!! What horrible luck you had! By the sounds of what you said, I think we're around the same age!!! Anyway, I gotta go distract myself somehow so I can stop scratching!!! Later, itchy-scratchy

My dear Marita, thank you so much for your wonderful words in my new album. Yes, I really enjoy it, I think it is better than I thought it would be... because I really don't know the camera yet... I have to practise a lot with it. But you wait to see the photos I took with it in my homeland before it stopped running... Ohhhhh, those fields are glorious! The reflections in the water aren't at the cemetary, lol. I have been donating blood this day and, when I left the Portuguese Institute of Oncology, I was walking with my friend Amélia and I suddenly saw those beautiful water lillies. As I always bring the camera with me, I captured it, of course. What you see in the water is the reflection of the Institute building (the windows, and there is a statue too). And about the flowers: no, they aren't all mine. Some are mine, some others belong to my friend Isilda, some of them are wild flowers, and there are also some I took in the Pena Palace garden, in Sintra, your Bird of Paradise, for instance. But a lot of them are mine. And the bugs and the lizard were in my garden too, lol. I'll be back tomorrow, hugs and kisses for a nosy and dear cowgirl:) Your friend Rosa

Hi my German friend, cows are lovely timid, kind, adorable, animals, especially when they are T-Bone, Rib, Rump, fillet or Sirloin medium rare. So if you got slobbered on, knocked kicked and generaly run around hard luck. anyway what do you expect in Texabut beef. apart from that down on the farm is a great place to have some fun which you certainly seem to have done, thank you for the very kind words they are very much appreciated I am shellshocked and very flattered to have been chosen, take care Ken xx

Congratulations to her and to the photographer! And thanks for the g.e. in the Ravel album. I only own one horse but I'm very proud of it too... Ravel would love to enjoy the meadows of Texas, I'm sure. I loved the blue flowers, it looks as if the sky had dropped on the grass, it's wonderful. Best wishes from Geneva. Barbara

The cows are cute and all, but I love the fields of flowers! What's with us all and flowers???? I was just telling my sis that my Flowers in Autumn album is the one that's clocked the most views (out of the latest NZ bunch)! Crazy! Anyway, it's bedtime for me ... later cowgirl! sharon

Pain where? Wasn't it a little up?:) What? You freed the cows? Oh boy, I must see this! Well, at first impression they are calm... decorated well, but calm... Nice horns! Your wild flowers were put to shame, eh? hmmmmm... Just wait for my RICOH... Ohhh, I like the entrance! Nice yellow field in #9, cool... Thanks for the warning in #12, I put my mask on! I can't lose this view! Oh boy! They're coming in your direction! They must have thought you wanted a beef! Keep running Marita! Ohhh, nice horses! But I wouldn't park my Little Blue there! Really nosy horses... That threshed horse - WOWWWWWWW!! Oh, by the way! Friday that horse pilgrimage comes thru my homeland again and I'm going there, with my new camera! I can hardly wait! I can imagine those rough tongues. My kittie's tongue seems sandpaper! So, you were scared but happy. The cows's faces are really cute! LOL, this white faced fellow really looks like friendly Casper:) That cow in 38 has a strange pose... 44, 45 and 46 are gorgeous. That yellow field is really great! #55 is so nice! That cow is very smart! My poor flowers are nothing compared with those wonderful fields! Really jawdropping! My favorite, I guess! But all the album is wonderful! Another Marita's great job! Congratulations! i loved it. Portuguese hugs and kisses for a german cowgirl, Rosa

Yes I'm back after a few days of Arkansas beauty..didn't even take the camera out of the bag as I spent most of the time visiting with Pop..Hope the mission will be a success as we try to convince him that the move would be a good one for him..He's giving it lots of thought & will let me know in a few weeks..I'm way behind on Webshots GB entries but right now it's not the top spot on my agenda..knopw what I mean...Now having said all the above..lets get down to this album of yours..As always your captions are simply "classic", along with some awesome photos of these beautiful cows & a few horses...Thanks for the invite & I'll get back in the swing of things in the coming weeks making my GB entries..I'm honored to be the very first (I hope) on making an entry for your awesome Texas Cattle Album...God's Blessings from Celina....Ken
