Bonjour, Barbara! It has always been my dream to travel to the magnificent chateaux of the Loire! After viewing your album, Blois would certainly be on top of my list. I truly appreciate that you've taken the trouble to place detailed captions. Your images passed on to me not only the awesome, almost overwhelming, first impression of this magnificent structure he but the appreciation of smallest intricate and delicate details. Well done. Dear Barbara this album is totally outstanding -the tour you take us on is a magnificent reminder of how things were for the priviledged and Royal in what seems to be a time never to be repeated -where are these master craftsmen today? My goodness the Chateau de Blois is full of opulance and splendor of the highest degree! The Fireplaces are such individual works of finest art -unbelievable in our times. What history ,what richness, what gloriousness this conveys to us all who are priviledged to view these gorgeous photographs .Thankyou so much for this magical tour Barbara and I am so very thrilled that Henri and Kaethi invited me to see your beautiful work.Warmest wishes from New Zealand -Lynne

Hello Barbara, All the great works of the last centuries lock up treasures of incalculable value. It is as if then the time stopped for the luxury of the Kings and the Great Gentlemen. The modern art no longer recreates in the majesty of other times. The chateau of Blois is an authentic jewel that makes the delight of all have the luck to contemplate it to them. Your photos are precious and faithfully gather the style, the beauty and the details of that time. Thanks Barbara for this gift of album. Best whises for you and yours from a good friend of Heinz et Käthi. Sincerely. Jesús

Hi Barbara...The castle is beautiful. I love the stairway too. Imagine how hard it must be to build this so many years ago. The architecture is beautiful. I like the beautiful details of the castle, the statue, the symbols carved in the stone...all beautiful. I love the inside. The ceiling and chimney are gorgeous. The mantel is gorgeous too as are all of the details. Everything is so ornate and beautiful. The piano and the room where it sits is very ornate too and I believe at the time that the castle was built, the people were very passionate about luxury and wanted the best and made things very beautiful and rich looking. I love the cupboard in the bedroom and the bed. Even the walls and floors are extraordinay. My favourite fireplace is photo #35 with the large crest and 'H' on it. The small private chapel is stunning. Just beautiful. The room in photo #42 is so beautiful and rich. This is a beautiful, extraordinary place and I see you enjoyed it very much. I also love the gardens. hugs and much love, Barbara

Hi Barbara! I enjoyed viewing the slideshow of the castles. My favorite photo was of the piano though just because I love piano music so much. The castles are so fascinating for me to view since I've never been near a castle. Thanks for sharing. Sharon from Missouri

Hallo Barbara! Vielen Dank! Merci auch für Deine Eintragungen in usern Albums (Pebbles, Gems)! Herzlich, Pa & Ma
