Hallo Vera, Thank you for the very nice words in my Tomar album. I really enjoyed this tour along the Wachau valley: The marille blooming trees, the vineyards, the ancient towns, it is really an idyllic area. An excellent place to spend a few days recovering from the day life stress and taking beautiful photos as this ones! I took a peep at the site you recommended in photo 17: Duernstein is a lovely town with wonderful sights. Photo 18 is very impressive with the pretty houses in such an high place! What a view they must have! I really love the old buildings, it's like being many years ago... And I like the way you photograph, capturing little wild flowers to give those colorful notes in some of the photos, like in 25 and 26. Well done! Number 36 is gorgeous... And it was nice to see you with that yellow forsythia background. Wonderful album, congratulations. I bought a new camera and I made an album which I dedicated to all my Webshots friends. Vera, I've so often heard of the wachau but never visited. What a peaceful place, wonderful landscape. I enjoyed seeing the forsythia in bloom, and of course the Apricots. The danube river has so much to offer, and this is another little jem along the road! Have a wonderful week, Marita

Dera Vera. Beautiful albom from a mejic place that is nice to visit all over the year. I had been to the Wachau few times, and last time in 2002 I stayed there for 2 nights. I came with no reservation. In the Direnstein castel there is an rele-Shato hotel (French compani), but there was no plcae , so I stayed in a nice small hotel and diner I had eat in the castel, and I remember it as one of my best diners, siting on the castel balconi at evening time, waching the Donau with candels on my table....This was a dream came true, as my father use to tell me as an child so many storys on this majic place. Tschues bis bald! RAN
