I really like your pictures. I would love to know what the story is behind some of the architecture. The people look like they are having fun. Go back and do a little info on some of the pictures and inform the world on your culture. Thanks for the wonderful photos. Connie

Hi, Anita, very interesting album and soooo topical too! My interest is in Lighthouses and navigational (maritime) beacons. Your photo 047 is a Lighthouse. Can I have name thereof and the place? Photos l17/018, 020 & 048 are all of the same tower which has a pretty tower-like base. What is this one used for? Radiobeacon or chronometer? Thanks in advance for your trouble to e-mail me at desertbanker@trelkomsa.ne t

I enjoy these photos. But, other than the fact that these pictures were taken in Lebanon, I have no idea what I'm looking at. I will probably never be able to visit Lebanon, and I would appreciate knowing what I'm looking at. Regards, Pam, Tucson, AZ, USA

Congratulations on having this super album featured today. It is so well deserving. I think its selection was sensitive to the times. We can now all appreciate the beauty and historical significance of Lebanon and the vitality and creativeness of its people. My hope is that you attain internal peace among all your people and find a way of peacefully co-existing with your neighboring countries. You have so much to share with all. Hi Anita, Congratulations on this great album and on your feature. You have here really beautiful and impressive photos. I think that is the first time that I see photos from Lebanon in Webshots, so, although the album is a little extensive, I went through it with pleasure. I would have liked some captions, explaining what I was seeing... maybe later? Warmest greetings from Portugal, Rosa

I wish there was more information on each photo. Knowing it is in Lebanon is part of the puzzle but where in Lebanon and what are we looking at and what is its historical significance. Details is what makes an album extremely interesting. Of course that takes a lot of time. Each city or area in its own album would be nice also. A person could completely look at one album at a time and come back later to look at another. Just suggestions! Jim in Hurricane, Utah, USA

Hi Anita, Thanks so much! As has been mentioned before, while this is a very interesting album, it would be much better if we knew what we were looking at. Captions are very good, educational! Also, try different albums for the different places in Lebanon. You do get a limit of 1000 photos but they don't all have to be in the same album! Leslie

I know that it would be nicer and more educational to have more information about the pictures, and also that I should have divided the pictures into several albums. Lack of time, and wanting to share the pictures with my travel companions, I took the easy way. I travel quite a lot and take a huge amount of pictures, and working more than full time, makes it difficult to find the time. To have my album as a featured album came as a big surprise for me and I wasn't aware of it until just a few days ago.
