Hello Heidi. What a wonderful album! I have had a ball in this jungle and, being an Aussie, was naturally very careful about where I was walking. It's bad enough having our own snakes without treading on one of yours! I have read about and seen TV film of jungle life but you have somehow captured more of the REAL thing. Hi Heidi, thanks for the lovely comment made about my latest album, it was a very beautiful place and I could have pointed the camera in any direction the pics would have been wonderful, I would love to go back again in the evening or morning Sun but I would have to get special permission to do that. like your Jungle so many wondefful things to photograph, with out the snakes of course.The house is now admenistered by the National Trust, but a member of the family still lives there, can't say as I blame her. Do take care in that jungle by the sea, and tell the Ladybug not to go into my area's I am as a rule the first and would have been if I had been at home, but as she is a lovely lady as well I will let her off. By the way a Molly Group is a Folk Dancing group performed by women as the females are not allowed to dance with the Morris Men spoilsports. also, The Straw Bear is a very local event, however sometimes a visiting Straw Bear from Germany comes over to take part Bavaria I think they come from. good luck Ken bug hugs #####

Heidi, I'm back and I see it's now two-to-one with Ken! *smile* I LOVE your new additions and I'm thrilled that your internet connection was working for you! All of your titles and captions form a lesson on the jungle of the Yucatan. I liked your description of the limestone base in the Yucatan (same as in Florida) and of the sink holes that form (same as here). You said there is little natural water there, so do the Mayans use the water in the sink holes for drinking and laundry? ... Thanks again for your photos, your 'doors' and your friendship. ...
