Hi Kaethi and Henri, Thanks for the comments on the tropical photos. Just viewed this album (there are so many interesting-looking albums on your page that it's hard to pick just one!)and enjoyed the "tour" very much. I especially liked seeing the close-up shots of some the carvings and ironwork. After all the centuries have passed, this handiwork still survives.

Hello Kaethi & Henri, I have finally ariived to view this splendid album. The detail we see from the old craftsmen is unmatched in todays modern world. Enjoyed the album a lot, as it is roughly contempory with some of our churches. Many thanks for your kind comments on my Shire Horse show album. Sorry I had intended to put a full explanation of their origins on one of the photos, but it escaped me. You probably found out from google that they were the battle horses of the old knights in full armour & then became the mainstays of the farming world untill that revolutionary tractor in the last photo usurped them. Still magnificent gentle giants though, hope they never fade away. Eric

Hi Kaethi and Henri, thanks for taking the time to visit my new album of Pomegranates while you're probably very busy since getting your 'degree'. I'm glad you like my album. Pomegranates are very tasty. However, I'm not sure regarding the pomegranates in my pictures. As you can see they are smaller and I'm not sure whether they are edible. I took pictures of this tree since it has both the flowers and fruit on the same time... Most pomegranate trees are blooming now and the fruit will be ready only in September. I wouldn't like to wait for so long. It's enough that I have to wait till October for my Feijoas... Take care, Yair.

Hello Kaethi and Henri! A fond congratulations on your well deserved members of week honours. I thoroughly enjoyed your album of chapels and churches. The incredible journey through a history of religion in the Pyrenees is wonderous. If only the walls and stones of the churches could speak of the many centuries and the people that worshipped within their presence. Warmest regards, Roger

Keep up the good work and enjoy your special week in the spotlight.. Best wishes to you both.. Gladys, Western Australia.

Bisous, Llum

Hi Käthi and Henri! You two really covered a lot of territory to find all these chapels and churches in the Pyrenees. I agree with Barbara that this album or one of your other Pyrenees albums should be featured. You have put much love and details into each and every photo. Hugs and love, Sharon

Waoh, quel bel album! the tourist office should hire you to make a photo album of that area's churches. Do we really have to wait one more year to see the other churches and chapels, those you did not have the time to visit this year??? Congratulations - that album will be featured for sure, it does deserve it! Herzlich, Barbara

Hello Kaethi and Henri, Just how these wonderful old Churches have stood the test of time is a remarkable feat of building by the master craftsmen of the time. Just like here in england every village wanted its own Church and many to this day are still standing. A very beautiful album of these wonderful old buildings which in there own rights are living history, take care my friends and God Bless for these beautiful images, Ken
