  • Thanks Marlene......You guessed it right, it was early. Most of stores in Town Square had not yet opened by the time I peddled by. In May in Arizona, you have to ride early to avoid the heat. Glad you enjoyed! Groetjes! Rick

  • We've been by Gilbert on I-10, but never down into the town. We do have a favorite place not very far from you and that's Stout's Cider Mill at the welcome center. If we lived where you do, I think we'd have a pie every week. It's hard to believe that they fit 10# of apples in each one! Mike and I shared a piece for breakfast one year and only wished we'd had a 'hunk' of Cheddar cheese to go with it - that's the way to eat apple pie in New England! ... Glad you enjoyed your trip down memory lane in my 1993 trip to MI, WI & NC. ... Judy
