Really enjoyed this tour through the underated county of Lincolnshire, especially the churches. Thanks very much Nick

Glad you got the pic OK. We would have driven right past your Grandadx2's place last Sunday and the Church was just a bit further along so I would say that is the right one, for sure. Small old world eh? In that album is a photo of an avenue of wattle trees that we drove through and also a peaceful scene with a couple of horses framed by a tree. There is also a farm. The farm is actually beside Lake Chittering although that is not obvious in the photo. Wonder if that was his place? The other stuff I just mentioned was at the spot where I stopped the car to take the pic of the farm. There were only a couple of other properties in the area that I could see, although I dare say there would have been more that were hidden by trees. Peter

Thanks for your message in my Chittering Valley album re your Great Grandfatherx3. Rather funny really because in the follow up to that album that I posted just a couple of days ago I have some photos of the little Church at Chittering. It's now called Holy Trinity and could well be the Church he was married in. If you would like a full resolution version of it just let me know and I'll send it over. I have just been admiring the photos in this Lincolnshire album which is of great interest because my wife's family all originated around Frampton & Kirton before drifting over to Holbeach. For many years we had family friends in Spalding and used to visit there regularly. Great to make contact with you. Best wishes, Peter in Western Australia
