I enjoyed your photography in this album so much Peter. Such different beauty from where I live. Thank you for your comments in my Oregon Coast I and Scenic Oregon albums. I must say, I love your eye for photography, and how your comments make me look at my work more closely because of your detailed and informative view. So, thank you so much for taking the time to really evaluate and comment on my work. It is truly appreciated. Hope you continue to return to see Oregon and the Pacific NW USA through my lens. Hi Peter, and thanks for the invitation to view this album. I'm struggling to catch up with correspondence and invitations, which is why I've taken so long to get to this album. Nice album, you're really spoilt for places to visit over there, aren't you. It all seems like a fiendish plot to lure me to the West, and possibly never leave. Best wishes, Keith.

Hi again Peter, I quite fancy the idea of being able to pick oranges, have a meal, then look at the stars from the observatory! That would be some day out. It's funny to see your lovely green grass whilst here in UK we are surrounded by brown, all dried up in this heatwave!Hugs,Angela.

Hi Peter, What lovely fruit! They must taste all the better for being fresh off the tree. The valley looks beautiful too. I like the grass trees. The wattle trees by the roadside are a lovely colour. By the way, I have some new albums. We are walking the Hertfordshire Way, a long-distance path around the county. It will take a few months to do it all. Love Pam x

Ahhhhh..... you know I love your Chittering Valley! These are some new and different scenes for me to enjoy. I could almost taste the mandarins! Looked like there were some blood oranges in the sample tray, too. The citrus groves remind me a little of the orange groves of California not far from where I was born, in Riverside. But Chittering is unique too, and I'd love to visit in person. One can dream, can't one? :-) Love and Hugs, Char

Peter, I took 500+ shots in the Genova valley :o) Each waterfall at least 30. But then I always filter them, it's a painful process, but I want to keep the album size down to a reasonable level and picture quality to the best I can :o) Deleting pics is painful, but no regrets! Ciao! Roberto

Hi Peter, WOW!! That was just beautiful and such a reminder at times of days gone by on the orchard farms of family. I loved the wonderful creek scenes and the panorama with all the animals. The fruit looked divine and a great time no doubt was had far from the maddening and combusting suburbia or city. Love those little towns and those gorgeous grass trees are a picture in themselves. You really captured some great shots in this Chittering Valley album and it was a total delight to view. Tks also for your kind words in the fishing album which was shot in the same place at Kawana Waters where the sunrises over the ocean were taken. I havent tried your suggestion re cropping the pic either way as time on here is nearly zero and can't see that I shall ever be back in the same way. I spent too much time out there and I am soo busy these days. I try to find time to catchup and browse and even now have to bolt again. Tks ever for sharing this beauty and for being there. Do take care and kindest regards to Betty also. Have a really great day...Hugs and luv...Em

Dear Peter, Wow look at the blue sky still not convinced my ND filter has the same effect it must be your blue sky to start with :o) I know you have told me before about the orange and lemon groves and how you love to go and visit this place at this time of year, they really do look so yummy ripened with all that sunshine. Loved all the grass trees they cost a small fortune to buy over here. Hope to catch up with you before we go away week Saturday. Take care now, Love and hugs Jill xx

Hello Peter, perhaps you could also give me an "invite" when you post new albums. I really enjoyed going through this one and commented by fingers off on quite a lot of photos. There were many, many new things in them that I'd never seen before, and thank you for showing them to me (and others). It certainly is less expensive than plane fare! Best regards from Kat

Hi Peter, Thank you for this invitation to go on this fantastic outing to Chittering Valley with you. How wonderful it must be to drive to such a wonderful place and purchase fresh citrus from the trees. I was very fascinated by your grass trees, I have never seen those before. These are great photos and I thoroughly enjoyed my outing with you. Take Care Leslie~Canada

Such a beautiful area . Funny how the pip fruits are ready in mid-winter, isn't it !We have grapefruit, lemon , oranges and mandarin trees that are producing. They have been in 3 years now but in our other house we had a huge weenie grapefruit that had been going 40 years +. Only problem would be consecutive frosts freezing the fruit & then them banging together in the wind. Our climate would be colder than yours, I expect, Peter. Marmalade making season ! Thanks for the invite...you take such interesting places. Hope you get the much needed rain soon. As aye, Ella in NZ

Hello Peter,a lovely album from your return visit to Chittering Valley,it must be wonderful to see all those citrus fruits growing in the fields, quite a few trees and plants that I'm not familiar with but that adds that extra spark of interest. You did a fine job on this one my friend, thanks for sharing your return visit with us.Also like to say a big thank-you for the kind comments on the old Teignmouth and Shaldon photos,I had to smile when you made so many comments on them because I was just in the process of replacing all the images with new ones I've taken this month.I do hope you like the replacements,I dedicated the album to you because of the Teignmouth connection,Regards,Rod.

Hello Peter. I'm here to say a big thank you for taking the time to comment on my Whitby album. It's always an honour to be featured but what makes the day really special is hearing from all your friends. It was good to hear from you. Well I cannot believe the sky in these pics. It's so blue. Guess that an Australian winter for you. I know what you mean about fresh fruit. I have picked fresh grapes, plums and peaches from a friend's garden in Italy and believe me, the taste was out of this world. Our fruit costs a fortune here and it's not always that good. Have you heard that we're in the middle of a heatwave here in England? Temps in the high 80's and they say that it's going to get hotter. The poor kids in school can't cope with this heat. They're just not used to it. Never mind, we break up on Friday. Then a week later we'll be flying to Vegas where we'll be meeting up with Loree (greenhorngrl). From Vegas we'll be travelling to Wyoming, cowboy country, which is a first for me. Be back in 3 weeks with loads and loads of photos I hope. Take care and enjoy your week. Hugs for the both of you, Jayne xx

Hi Peter, thanks for visiting my Windows album. All the windows in my pictures are from a neighborhood in Tel-Aviv called Neve Tsedek. The number plates in my previous album are from the neighborhood where I live which is not as old as Neve Tsedek that was founded in the 19th century. I take all these pictures in a very early hours when not too many people are in the streets to avoid any potential problems... Thanks for your kind words in my guestbook and for your concern about our problems these days. I really appreciate it. It seems that it might take a while for things to calm down. Take care, Yair.

Hi Mate, looks as if I have got here first, Carolynn and I have just enjoyed a half hour or so looking through, A nice area, all those fruit trees, and could not believe the price of them, How often do they replant the trees? They seem here to go for the smaller trees now rather than the old orchards of old. The sun is still shining even though you are in the middle of winter, so a nice little trip out to the country must be a real pleasure for you, take good care and best regards Ken and Carolynn
