  • Hello Peter, thanks for visiting my "On the Road" album and for you kind comments. There is the town of Dorrigo which might have been rather small when you passed through 20 years ago! It is still a small town but has more than a store and cafe now. The small "town" of Ebor is nearby too and that is a lovely little place - not a lot there though. We stayed on a sheep property at Ebor many, many years ago and had a great time. I love this album of your visit to Adelaide (our Capital city)...thanks for taking me through Hahndorf again. I love this little village and it was great to see it through your eyes. You have some wonderful photos i this album. Best wishes to you and Betty, Pam

  • Hi Peter, thanks for taking me along. It was a great trip. I like going on a trip with you cause you show us everything you see.Sometimes it's those little things people think no one wants to see that are the most interesting. Love it. Hugs to both of you...Claudette

  • Hi Peter!! Thank you so much for all your nice messages!! Thank you not only for the compliments, but also for the thought and humor you have put into your messages. I have truly enjoyed them, as I'm sure future viewers will! Don't worry, it will take me a while before I post the Carphian albums. I'm afraid it will also take me a while to locate that hat you liked so much. As for the adorable gypsy child - I'm sure you can find many natural models like him even in Westerdn Australia. Thank you my friend also for your warm and encouraging words during the recent hard times. Warm regards for you and Betty. I will join your weekend in Adelaide when I have more time. Hugs!! Orly

  • Hi Peter, yesterday I needed some genie for myself. They sent me home from work because I wasn't well. The surprising part is, they succeeded to do that. Peter, my Master, thank you for your many messages in my messageboards. You mad me laugh with your comments, and as always: one joke was to high for me! Please explain what it is about your comment to #8. Just now I see that there is a lot about the series of the comments to that picture . . .but my brain is still failing me! :-) - I loved your comments as always. You seemed to be in such a good mood - as always. . . . okay - most of the time! :-) Yes, it is the Mediterranean in those pictures and: Yes, it still wasn't the new camera. I am just too slow! No, :-) I didn't stop the birds singing :-) but keep asking my dear! And, Peter, I never stop singing when I look at a sky like that! I know where your grandson got that chatterbox from! :-) Thanks for cheering me up, my Master. Peter, stay as you are! Lots of love and a great hug for you both - Galit

  • Hi Peter, this is another one of your great albums, makes me feel like its time for Margaret and I to have a holiday. Not much chance this year though we have been to busy house hunting, now as of tomorrow it moving time. If it were not for my camera and also having become a warden at one of the new wild life reserves I would have become nuts the way the solicitors have messed us about. Any way catch up with you again once we have every thing back in place. Paul

  • Hello Peter, CONGRATULATIONS to your grandson! For sure there is a bright future ahead. People who know to talk are doing well in life! He must have it from you, Master! You are very good in talking too! :-) I am very sure you enjoyed to be there with him to enjoy the whole competition. Some of those days to remember!! I just had some of those MOMENTS to remember . . . . My son, after finishing his long studies and after beginning to work (at last!!) had a vacation in Eilat with his girl friend. When they came back he told he that he has to talk to me and ask me to sit down . . . . . . . . .my head was spinning! People think about lots of things in those moments. And then he told me something about that I had worked hard blah blah blah, for his studies blah blah blah and here is a little gift. . . .Maybe I should tell you about the gift next time??? :-) It is a Canon S3 IS. I still can't believe that. And now I am back to school with that manual!! I hate manuals in Hebrew! I am cleaning up my PC from rest photos and created some new albums with them . . . if you are interested . . . lots of greetings from your genie - Galit

  • Hi Peter, Thank you for your kind reply to my comments and album entry, I too have placed you in my favourites so I can browse YOUR albums at leisure. I will warn you in advance though .... SOMETIMES my wacky sense of humour (that has got me into trouble from time to time with friends and family) gets the better of me and I just have to put a comment on a photo that I see some humour in. Sometimes it is in response to someone else's comment ..... But I will assure you now .... ABSOLUTELY NO OFFENCE IS MEANT ... With that said, I look forward to a continuing corrospondence with you. Warm regards Trish.

  • Hello Peter, I have been meaning to stop by and view your albums for some time and it looks like I'll be doing that for some time to come. I have seen your posts in Rod's albums. Also in other WS artist albums, and became curious to see who this georgieboy98 is, so now I know .... another fine WS Artist!! I really enjoyed your shots of Hahndorf with it's unique German influence, and the typical Aussie Farm scenes. Your shots of the storm brewing over Glenelg just blew me away!! I'll just have to bite the bullet and say to the heck with the petrol prices and drive over to revisit Adelaide & Glenelg. Also, to see Hahndorf for myself one day. Thank you for sharing your Adelaide trip with all of us out here in WS land, Kind regards, Trish. Melbourne, Victoria.

I enjoyed your trip around town and the hills you visited some of my favourite spots. You should call this a winter weekend or our overseas WB friends will think the worst of sunny Oz. hugs.. poppy

  • Hi Peter, What a weekend! You packed a lot in. Adelaide looks lovely. Hahndorf looks really interesting and very German. There certainly is a lot to see there. I hope you enjoyed your evening out. I bet it was a very special occasion. It's a shame the weather was a bit "English". We have had glorious weather here for weeks! I like the idea of the chromometer tower. It must have been very useful in its time. I have answered some of your questions in my last 3 albums. We are off on a 12.5 mile walk this weekend. We use 2 cars and park one at the end of the walk then drive the other to the start. I'll have another album ready next week. Love Pam x

  • Hi Peter, well you certainly packed a lot into your week end in Adelaide. Looks like you and Betty had a great, and you sure got some nice shots. Many thanks Peter for your good wishes on my retirement. Less than a week in, and I'm a lot busier than I ever expected, and certainly not so soon. I don't see me getting to Perth in quite a while, but when I do, I'll be looking you up for sure. Until then, take care and best wishes, Keith.

  • Hi Peter, looks like you had a very full & enjoyable weekend. What a shame that you had such British looking weather! Lots of clouds here today & heavy rain last night, hope the heatwave isn't over yet! Hahndorf looks more like a theme park or film set than a real town.Your little camera seems to have coped well,i like the storm photos & the cloudscapes from the plane. Thanks for all the GB entries in my Northumberland holiday albums...much appreciated. To answer a few of your questions...No,the stones don't hurt Bailey's feet when we are fellwalking. The dogs were terrified of the bagpipes,Bailey was just trying to get away although he looks as if he's trying to eat Harry from the angle of the shot!LOL.He was with me when we saw the rabbit,he doesn't chase them as our daughter has 2 house-rabbits so he knows not to.It's busy here at the moment as our daughter gets married next week,so hoping for a return to sunshine, just not quite so hot as it's been. We don't want to roast in our best bibs & tuckers!LOL...Hugs, Angela.

Also liked the pics from the plane on your way home. Some of thm looked like photos from the space schuttle. Thanks for the invite mate. Catch you later. Cheers Al

  • G'day, Peter! My first question was: how did your grandson do in the competition? Seems like you got a wonderful family weekend out of it regardless. What a nice surprise to see Hahndorf. Mike was stationed at the dorf(village) of Hahn in Germany close by my hometown when we met, so for me the walk thru that little village was a special treat. Adelaide looks like a pleasant place, with an awesome seaside location. And although you had some rainy weather you got some awesome shots there! Have a fantastic week. Marita
