  • Hi Maxine and Art- Thanks for asking us to be Webshots Friends. We said YES. Looks like you went on the boat trip on Lake Huron. The day we went it was foggy and very weird. You need to visit the East Coast - we have a lot of great lighthouses here just like you do in Michigan. We plan to go back two more times at least to see more lights. We do this on our vacations. We live in CT. We have seen more than 250 US lights and been inside about 25 of them. Blessings!

  • Like lighthouses Maxine. It always heartens me to see mans' ingenuity in helping his fellow man. A couple I will try to reproduce in Bryce at sometime. Thanks for sharing these. Regards, John

  • Hi Max, What a beautiful and extensive collection! Lighthouses, while meant to be functional, were obviously seen by their creators as much more. Otherwise, there would not be such a tremendous variety of designs, even in such a relatively small (at least small when compared to all the North American coastlines) place as Lake Huron. Greetings from Florida, Paul. P.S. Thank you for your recent kind words on my Arches album. It is difficult to point a camera in any direction in southern Utah and not come up with a decent picture.
