I enjoyed seeing your pictures of Lancaster County. I grew up near Strasburg, PA with Amish and Mennonite neighbors but now live in Texas. Now I'm homesick!

Hi Shirley, This album is a wonderful mix of daily life photos of the Amish. Some of them could have been taken right here in Western Michigan where we have three large communities of Amish. These phtographs show us really how we could benefit with a lifestyle as such. There was a hammish community not far from where I used to work, I would always stop by their roadside stalls and buy some of their produce. They ARE A VERY HUMBLE COMMUNITY THAT NEED OUR RESPECT.
