  • Hello Al! This is a beautiful and enjoyable album. The breakwall at Port Macquarie seems to be a nice place for fishing, for shooting and for some reflections about life too:) I loved all the shots, specially those with that huge pelican. In Portugal we haven't pelicans (only in the Zoo, of course), and I was delighted when I saw a few in Mexico, about a month ago. But I didn't achieve to get a good shot of them... They always appeared without a warn, and while I ran to get my camera, they were already disappearing... Thank you so much for your visit and nice comments to my ducks album. I appreciated them very much. My best wishes, Rosa

  • What a wonderful and interesting album, Al! Not all graffiti is bad and in this case, it is probably very meaningful to a lot of people. Nice one. PS: When are you getting out of jail? :) Take care! Mandy

  • Thanks for the invite to the album. I always enjoy seeing your bird friends. As far as the graffiti, well you did a great job of photographing it and there were some interesting messages; however, I wish the people who wasted their time writing on public property, whether rocks or buildings or whatever, would use their artistic talents for a real purpose (like becoming an art teacher or whatever). Hope you're staying cool and dry and treating Elaine and Kobe well. Hugs and handshakes, Sharon

  • Yeah, Lorie, good question. I am expecting something deeply profound and moving...enlighten us Al! Wonderful album Al from a memorable place for me. If the weather hadn't been so bad when we were there I could have just spent hours reading "rocks". Some of this stuff is quite moving (left me blobbering, mate)! Have a great day, Mate! Cowgirl hugs from Houston...mooooving on...Marita

  • Hi Al, and thanks for letting me know this album was up. Must say the wall with its painted and dedicated rocks looks a lot better in your album than it does in real life. So far as grafitti goes, I guess this is a lot better some we see. I love the way you worked the pelicans into your album, because they are a real part of that sea wall, and Port Macquarie. Keep up the good work Legend, cheers Keith.

  • Hi Al. Glad you let me know about this album. Wouldn't have wanted to miss it. The graffiti is interesting and some of it is quite sad in a way. As for the caravan park well, we stayed there a couple of times during the 1980's and I can tell you the river wall wasn't as good then as it is now. The mandatory pelican made just a brief appearance, had his say and then scooted off. Good work mate and I enjoyed it. By the way I viewed it on a slow slide show, full screen, and the pictures look really great at that size. Catch you again, Peter

  • Another good album under your belt Al, I liked the graffiti that had meaning but I'm unsure about the "WE WUZZ HERE!!" type, and the fishing inspector, well that goes without saying how much I liked him ......... ;-D Thanks for sharing, Hugs Mate, Trish

  • Top album mate!!!!! Love the nosey Pelican. Relative of Nigel is it? What a great idea, nearly all those rocks actually mean something instead of just all the usual rubbish graffitti. love and hugs mate Chris and Jay
