Thanks a lot for uploading this collection. The Delameres/Paulets/Praters are my ancestors and a few years ago a couple of my family members and I made the amazing trip to Nunney. Unfortunately after a 9 hour flight, 2 busses, 3 trains, and a taxi the castle was undergoing resoration at the time so we were not allowed to go across the moat into the castle. Some of these pictures are of things that i did not have the privlege to see and i am very thankfull. Thanks again! Warby.

I understand that Richard Prater is one of my ancestors. Thanks for all the great photos. I hope to get back to the Mother country some day to see Nunney Castle.

Mike, why did the Parliament Army attack the castle in the first place?

Hello Mike; Very interesting to read about this centuries old castle. Hard to imagine even a castle standing that long. It must have been very beautiful in it's day. Best Wishes, Marjie

Hey mike, using the thumbnails above I picked out some photographs that looked like they had good contrasts and detail. The cool thing about Picasa is that when you bring up a photo, it shows you thumbnails of various effects, including several black-and-white variations. Good luck!
