  • Isn't this where is to so windy it almost knocks one down while standing there and trying to even get a picture? I can't remember which Lighthouse I visited, but I started at Heceta Head and went down the southern coast with one of them the strong wind was almost overpowering. Anyway was thinking it was this particular lighthouse. These are marvelous shots of this area. Thanks. Karen

  • Hallo Randy, you're great! I like lighthouses and I like also taking photos of them. Your albums are very beautiful. I was recently in Germany; on the coast of the Northern Sea there are lots of lighthouses, my new album is still in progress. Lorella, Italy

  • Hi Randy, I dioscovered your site through Ron Boise's guestbook, and glad I am too. I enoyed this album, and will be back to view more of your work. You did well to capture the lighthouse, but it's the coastal shots that caught my attention. Best wishes, Keith in Sydney.

  • Great bunch of shots, Randy - a beautiful album, well worth coming back more than once. I'd like to yak at you in longer terms than this W/S email system, but don't know how to contact you, other than giving away the farm and inviting more to my humble abode than I wanted to in the first place. If you have a suggestion, I'm listening. If I were to add my add. to one of your messages, would you guarantee that the message would disappear along with the address? I would then again re-write a note on here just to keep your numbers up and running, if that's what you wanted. Let me know in a note on my site. I'll do the same for you. Again, thanks for the invite to this album and many more. ron

  • Randy, Thanks for the invitation to review this album again. Your shots tell alot about your photography, a good eye is needed in an album like this one. Catch the light sometime when the winds are dancing at a hundred miles an hour - its quite tough to maintain yourself, but its an education within the light itself. You've a nice album, worthy of more than one visit. Thanks for the update and an interest in the light.

  • Randy, A really nice album, caught many of the shots I wanted, but the day was waning, a bit overcast, shots from the top of the tower were quite cool. Before the lighthouse was being worked over, I had a good thought of taking a tour on the outside walkway, but throught better of it with winds kicking in the 40 knot arena. I'll tell you one thing, it gets super hot up there in the summertime. Thanks for the tour...a old favorite haunt of mine. ron/oregon coast

  • Randy, you've got a great album here. I have always been fascinated by lighthouses and you have captured some great shots with excellent compositions and interesting angles. The shots of the Sixes River and the Yellow Gorse are masterpieces. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and your fantastic photos of the Oregon Coast are tempting me to take a road trip; it's been a long time since I've driven north along the coast. Keep snapping! Vicky
