Hi Suresh! I noticed that you congratulated Gavrilos_Pisy on his featured POTD today. This is the same fellow who has stolen from you and many others in the past. I have reported him to Webshots--they shouldn't continue to let him upload photos and they keep making the same mistakes over and over again and featuring him. Just wanted you to know--hope you will report him. Greetings, Sharon

Hi Suresh, your generosity and unlimited patience is very appreciated. Your photography c/w absolutely wonderful personal observations, commentaries under each image are something to treasure and values. Not too many photographers share or care to write any short explanatory notes. And you know very good that behind every taken photo is the story to be told. I wish to have more time and to be more present among the webshots friends. Although I’m retired but my consulting project takes my free time to much at this moment. I hope that in the near future (a year or two) I will slowdown then return to full time travel photography which is my (our) passion. Thank you for sharing your interesting travel expieriences with wonderful photos. Friendly greetings, Rafal

Dear Suresh, Wow, wow and wow again on this splendid album. One of the best! I appreciate your time and effort on narrating nearly every picture. Good quality. I looked at every picture in zoom mode which enhances the quality even more. You were fotunate to see such beautiful wildlife too. How happy the people look but it surprised me that there are no pictures of adult males! We can learn a lot of these people and their simple lifestyle. It pleased me to see that woman will be woman with special hairstyles, white teeth and lots of jewellry. Thank you so much for taking me with you on this fabulous trip. A feast for eyes. Thank you for your nice comments on my Belgian food and drinks album. I am looking forward to your next adventures my friend. Sincerely, Juliette.

Dear Suresh, it looks like I have not congratulated you on your featured album yet, only the POTD!! I am not as organized as you are, however, I told you in advance that you will soon be featured and I was right, so soon that I have not noticed it!! My best belated congrats, this album is one I always remember anyway, it is so brilliant. As to my own silly effort of an album, it is funny how this one got featured, the real one I took some effort in making in Sibelius Park was done two days earlier, Helsinki in snow, 6 November.. in a snowstorm. But two days later the snow was melting away, it was sunny. Thank you for noticing, I was very proud to get your comment! Regards from Helsinki, Merike

The sand dunes are unbelievably beautiful. I love your animal and human portraits which are very geographic at view and meaning, and very much in this world. I know you are a master at your creativity ,at communication, and at true love what you can express on your pictures and writings. Thank you so much for your generousity in sharing these all with us. Suresh, thanks for your visit to my new album of the Memorial Gardens of Ramat Hanadiv. Those gardens are very beautiful and I used to visit there frequently with my grandparents when I was a child. It's a long time since I visited the gardens and therefore I was very happy to visit there again, this time with my camera! It's a wonderful place and I hope to visit again in autumn or spring so I can share with everyone even better view of the garden. You told that you were traveling, I hope this means that we should expect a new album soon... You already know that I really like watching your albums and by looking at the views count in this album, it seems that lots of members love your albums! Wishing you a wonderful week, Yair.

Hello Suresh, this album is fantastic, I looked at it several times enjoying it immensely. I think: every spot on this world you visit looks the most beautiful and the most desirable to visit, when YOU present it. You somehow look at it from 'the other side'! Not from the side of the visitor, but from the side of the people living there; showing them not as a tourist attraction, but as a beautiful way to live and enjoy life. I wish I had more time to comment all your pictures, as I so much enjoy to do usually. Postponing my comments already let me miss your glorious celebration of your POTD some days ago! Congratulations and welcome to the club! Webshots made a wonderful choice choosing that picture!!! :-) In a few days I'll go back to old Germany for a family wedding. Then 7 more nephews and nieces are still unmarried. People do make less commitments like that these days. And I am busy because my children moved to other flats in the last month - some more work to do. I am happy they still like my sewing all kind of curtains and so on. It seems to me, challenges like that were easier to me in the past. :-) Thank you so much for your many detailed messages in my guestbooks. It seems it took you hours! :O It is always great to hear from you! About your questions I have to say: The cream for the strawberries did not make it - I used it for other pictures together with strawberries - and gave it to my guests - for pleasure! - - - The cultivated Lantana has usually only one color - I don't know why this is. More thanks for searching my album of the Webshots challenges. I noticed you send Namibia pictures yourself! I think you should submit some more pictures, because pictures of albums being featured in any way in the last 3 month are excluded. Suresh, I WILL come back to this album, but it will take some time. It will take at least until you have answered all your fan mail from the last feature! :-) Take care - and thanks for your patience. - Galit

Hi Suresh. Wonderfully documented album accompanying fabulous captures. What an amazing sight these sand dunes are. Love the contrasting colours throughtout. Your animal and people shots are excellent. In all an outstanding album. I await to see this featured. I fear it won't be long until it appears on the homepage. Kindest regards, Jayne x

A most interesting album, Suresh!!! From landscapes to fauna and people! I find the amber-coloured dunes artistically beautiful; the animals have spirit (which they lose in captivity!); and your portraits of the people from the tribes are - maybe - the very best shots in the whole album and the MOST attractive!!! I dare say you made Jacques completely happy by dedicating this album to him!!! Friendly regards from Japan, Gabriela

Hi Suresh, thanks for your very kind words in my 3 Photos A Week album. I really appreciate it! I have to admit that when I visited your album a week ago, it reminded me of the CEO of a company that I used to work for, that escaped from the FBI to Namibia... and that's why Namibia is mentioned in the local news frequently. It's much better to see it through your lens. Wishing you all the best, Yair.

I always leave your albums feeling enriched. I never fail to learn from them. Namibia has been a real eye opener and the way in which you have depicted it is masterly in the extreme. From those wonderfully sculpted dunes to the close up encounters with some magnificent animals and lastly those unbelievably beautiful portraits of the people. Simply outstanding and already I have viewed it twice on a slow slide show. I thought at the time there was no way could you better your Peruvian album, but then came Sri Lanka and now this - each one a classic in it's own way. Exceptionally beautiful and sensitive work old buddy and I compliment you whole heartedly. Thanks for your gracious comments on my recent humble offering and I was also interested in your remarks regarding the recently finished World Cup. I believe that the main reasons Australia does so well in these tournaments are a) their great mateship with each other, b) their work ethic and c) their absolute and total belief in themselves and their abilities - it never enters their minds that they might lose. Some say that they are TOO ruthless but, ever since the days of Dennis Lillee they have followed a simple principle, ie Never give a sucker an even break!! Not really sport as I have always believed it to be but an amazingly effective way to conduct a successful business!! All best wishes, Peter

Dearest Suresh - what an outstanding work of Art you have given the world! And it is fitting to dedicate this album to Jacques - another master of the world's portraits. The sand dune shots are magnificent, but the artistry of your portraits outshines even the sculpture of the dunes. You have such a great talent to make people smile - I am smiling now to prove it! I hope some day to make your acquaintance in person and see if I can figure out your secret :-) Warmest regards from California, Beth

Suresh, I am wordless. This is an exceptional album of an exceptional trip. I’m never been in Namibia but thanks to your pics it is from now a pending issue for me. You have the passion and the talent in transmitting us not only your outstanding work but your feeling in each photo, and while seeing the slideshow I remembered the words of Lord Byron: "Oh that the desert were my dwelling place, With only one fair spirit for my minster. That I might forget the human race, And hating no one, love her only." Thanks Suresh for sharing. Best regards, Manuel

Dear Suresh, you have done an exeptional job with this album. It is very unique and as Judy says, deserves a featured position! The scenery is amazing and your portrait photos are breathtaking! Who'd have known there were people of such simplicity and beauty out there in the desert. You'll have a hard time topping this one, my friend! Cheers, Leslie!

Dear Suresh, this fabulous album MUST be FEATURED!!! I viewed the slideshow, but I didn't stop to comment on them because if I did, you'd have 72 comments in your e-mail! I loved seeing the beautiful land and dunes, and all of the animal photos, which are wonderful. The third section, with the Himba and Owahakaona people is exquisite! Your photography, as always, is phenomenal, but more than that, you've captured the essence of the peoples of that land and educated us as we went along. Thank you friend, for sharing your beautiful photography! ... Warm regards, Judy

Suresh, what a nice surprise to wake up to this wonderful album. We are thinking of returning to Africa but never would have thought of Namibia...but now our eyes are open to a piece of the world that is very special. The people, the landscape and the wildlife that you captured in your pictures give us a "want to go there" feeling. Thanks for sharing.

Dear Suresh, I took time to view each image one by one with an enormous pleasure despite the magnificent weather we have to-day outside! This fabulous album encloses the most fascinating ethnic portraits I saw in Webshots, often better than the National Geographics ones!!! Idem for the animals shots, sometimes captured with courage, always with succes (I think to the majestic elephant shots!); Of course this album HAS TO BE FEATURED to permit a larger viewing by the Community! I thank You for the invite and for the dedication of such a wonder to my little person! Warm thoughts to You and Usha! How glad we should be Pierre and I to meet You again, why not in France one day!

Suresh, I really do envy you this trip, something I have wanted to do for a long time. I once served for a short time on a ship named after the capital of Namibia, so have been interested in the Country for a long time. The dune pictures are spectacular, the wildlife pictures awesome & the people pictures sensational. Well done a great album. Eric
