Banaue Rice Terraces are called the 8th Wonder of the World. These were carved from the high mountain slopes by the Ifugao farmers more than 2000 years ago. These man-made terraces are also known as giant stairways to the sky.

    • During my career at Atlanta windows company, I was able to visit a country like this. It was like a natural paradise for me cause I never saw such beauty in my entire life. No my dream is to let my kids see this natural wonders as well so I'm planning a trip for them next year.

    • Mabuhay! These are lovely pictures! I went to Banaue, Ifugao and visited Banga-an Rice Terraces in Nov 2004. Looking at your beautiful pictures from Batad Rice Terraces, it makes me want to go back and hike to these very scenic mountain terraces! Regards, Luis

    • Thanks for sharing this album. This gave me a chance to see this wonderful place up close. Your skill in capturing landscape pictures is evident in this beautiful work. The scenery also made one feel insignificant because of its grandeur. The album also provided a quick Ifugao 101 in the way they live and what their typical household looks like.
