I think, by far, that this is the best Maui album I have ever seen. Makes me wish I were there again. Especially seeing the Cheeseburger in Paradise picture and the Lahaina harbor.

A wonderful album Sharon and I do wish that the Webshots slideshows didn't cut off so much off the photo. The full screen slideshow is heaps better but a bit fiddly to get at. I've never been to Hawaii, sadly and doubt that I ever will now but my mouth waters at just looking at your photos of the area (two albums seen so far) Lovely to have had a visit from you to one of my albums - many thanks for that and it was great to see you there. Dear sweet Sharon, your albums just exude the Aloha spirit, ahhhhhh....I dream of Maui! Seriously, all the time...we were there 2x many years ago and it is by far the most mind and sprit altering place I've ever visited and we've been around the block (world) a few times. Take off your watch and your shoes and let yourself be carried away by the tradewinds, the scents and spirit of the people...we'll be back. Thank you for letting me re-visit this wonderful place, funny all of the sudden I feel like a Mai-Tai :D!. May I make one tiny little suggestion though, and please don't take offence, but you would do the island even more justice if you divided up the 252 in about 4 -5 albums. Personal experience has been more than 50 pix in an album and people loose interest and it would be a shame for any of these shots not to be seen :D!!!! Thank you also, so much for your recent visit and your sweet comments! My folks were visiting from Germany for 4 weeks and I've just neglected my computer. PS: Oh, I forgot to comment on the cloudy, overcast skies that Jayne spoke of. I remember how the weather patterns do swirl around the islands and sometimes do obscure the sunlight/ But the air is soooo 'soft' on the skin and there is beauty everywhere! ... Enjoy!

Hi Sharon. Sorry it's taken me a while to visit. I know I have neglected you, but since arriving back from our recent trip to NM, I am way behind on Webshots. I haven't even sorted out all my photos yet and we've been back 3 weeks. Isn't that dreadful? Thank you so very much for this extensive tour of Maui. I could have commented on many more photos, but thought you might get tired of reading them. I really hope one day to be able to visit this island myself. It is a dream of mine. Your love of Maui is very evident and I know I would love it too, should I ever be lucky enough to get there and see it for myself. The weather didn't appear as sunny as I expected to see. Was this because you visited in April. My visions of Hawai'i are of piercing blue skies, sun shining from morning till night and wonderful white beaches with the leaning palm trees reaching out to the ocean. I see you have many more albums and I will try to get back as soon as I can. Please be patient with me though. I have a lot of catching up to do.
