Hi Mike; I decided to get brave and pushed myself to the next level. Last week-end, I ordered Adobe photoshot CS3 and also the instructional DVD's so that I can learn it. This looks like such fun to take a favorite place and spend some time creating different looks with a treasured memory. Thanks for sharing and I look forward to seeing what else you come up with. Thanks for sharing! Warm regards, Marjie

Hi Mike; It was a wonderful visit to come and see what you have done with photoshop in your most favorite city. I find that when I work on photos of places that i love to visit, it is almost like being there. Thank you for sharing this most outstanding album. That is my next challenge... to learn photoshop. Hope that all is well in your world. Hugs, Marjie

WOW! Bellissimo lavoro! Un grande abbraccio. Simonetta

Simply stunning. All the familiar icons and landmarks made refreshingly new by creative manipulation - without ever going over the top. I agree with petroy100 - working with any imaging software isn't simply a case of sitting in front of your computer and pressing a few buttons. It takes, time, patience, skill and - above all - artistic vision. And magikeith is spot-on when he says "Photoshop is where photography meets art." Indeed, I've been so inspired by this wonderful collection of images, I'm going to upload my own album of manipulations. As with petroy100, I've had a collection sitting on my hard drive for more than a year - now, thanks to you, I'm motivated to offer it up for view. Cheers - Dave

Franco

Excellent job Mike! Good effort in portraying sites photographed millions of times through a different 'perspective'. Photoshop is a powerful tool, which creates quite amazing results. Takes a lot of patience though (if you are a novice like me)... I have created a couple of shots myself in the past (they are currently sitting in my hard drive). Maybe I'll work on some more and build enough of a collection to post on the site some day... Thanks for sharing!
