    • I WAS stationed at Ramstein working for 604th comm sq. i was there from 1955 to 1962. at the time i was there the asoc was located in a tent outside while the inside the cave was being constructed. i am confused. according to some of the above messages the cover was still open in 1970 to 1973. another perso said they were there from 1969 to 1973. now i have it under good news the cave was closed in 1962. will someone please clarify for me. when in fact the cave was closed????? flamay@juno.com

    • I was stationed at Ramstein from January 1966 to August 1968, assigned to the 2135th Comm Sq. I worked at the weather relay at the cave for that period. I recognize the chow hall and several other photos. Man, that was a long time ago!!!

    • I was OIC of the Intelligence Watch Office at Kindsbach. Unfortunately the tour does not show the coolest part because I doubt anyone knows where it was.

    • Hi! I googled Kindsbach Cave and your pictures pulled up, we are living in Kindsbach, apparently 2 houses down from the entrance and I am trying to find out how to get a tour!!! If you could help me out with who you contacted to get a tour, I'd greatly appreciate it, we've been so curious as to what it's like, it'd be great to finally get to see it! Thanks!

    • Consisered a fantastic find. I was assigned to and worked the cave for three years. Being comm maintenance I had total access to the entire facility. There were some tunnels with train tracks that I noticed were not depicted in your coverage. Thank You John Walsh Johnww1422@aol.com
