  • Your Trinity pictures in the miscell. album lead me here. You certainly captured the austere beauty of Eastern Newfoundland. You must go to Gros Morne now and L'Anse aux Meadows on the western side. Amazing icebergs you saw. I only had a little point-and-shoot when we visited in June '04 so missed some good chances. Should go back with my Nikon 10x! Cheers, Elm

  • Loved this album with the birds & icebergs. Only found it through investigating the new tag system for challenges. I was away part of last week & missed having a look through all the entries, would definately have commented on your icebergs if I had seen them. Just my humble opinion though, no chance in the challenge unless the photos contain colour! I have long had an interest in icebergs, as you probably know all the big ones off Newdoundland come across the Davis straight from Greenland. We were lucky enough to do a cruise from UK up to Illulissat to see them at their origin in Disco bay, an unbelievable sight. My album is on ericy102. Managed to see some more in Antarctica last December, I am the lucky one! LOL. Eric

  • Hi Lynn, Excellent album full of isolated beauty. The landscapes look more like northern Europe than North America. Looks like a harsh but beautiful place to live. Have you seen the film "Shipping News," takes place in Newfounland. Regards, Tom

  • I love your Newfoundland portrayal. Lovely indeed. I so love my Island province, although born on the coast of Labrador, and we are Newfoundland and Labrador, I am happy to be back on 'THE ROCK WITHIN THE SEA' after 30+++ years away. We came home to retire in 2000 and have never looked back. Welcome to my albums as I update them constantly. Our fishery is starting for five weeks soon, then the photos start jumping around!*lol* Once again, Thank You for your Kind Remarks. Bonnie Jarvis-Lowe Clarenville, NL
