Dear Judy, You had an excellent idea to scan and present all these beautiful images of the past; We have got from an aunt of Pierre, teacher of an Auvergne village, 3 precious books as wills when she died: one on France, one on the world and one on antic civilizations; They are full of images all aged from one siecle to more! I have already thought to picture some unbelievable images present in all pages of these voluminous three books as the transformation of some towns and sites is outstanding! Very good idea a new time, with my best thoughts, Jacques

Dearest Judy, you had a great idea with this album! I enjoyed myself thoroughly following in your steps! If I only had patience.....I could do the same thing with my huge postcard collection! Hope you're fine! Hugs from Gabriela

Hi Judy, Wow, it is really great that you went to all the trouble to put these in. Thanks for sharing!! I hope it is cooler up there in NJ than it is here. You know funny thing is, I am ashamed to admit, but I am not sure where Hernando county is here in FL! I have lived here 14 years now.

Hi Judy - I like this. You have done a masterful job in getting these all digitized. Interesting to visit your life in postcards. Thanks again for you comments on my Michigan album. I actually went through my life in pictures a while back when I scanned many of the slides I had taken over the past 40 years or so. Some are up here in WS in a series of albums called "Glimpses of a Lifetime" I look at those now though and think I have to do it all over again--the technology for scanning photographic slides has gotten so much better. Thanks again for your comments. Mike

Wow, this is something I could not even start with. I have got thousands of postcards:-) A lovely collection, Judy! I also buy many post cards from places I have visited as the professional photographers take so much better pics than I can. On the other hand, I have thought we are not allowed to use such pics that are not ours. I have got only one, maybe, the one taken of me as a child in the album of someone else!! You know, the one Loree has made:-) You did not find me? Merike

Hi Judy. What an undertaking this has been - and how well you have done it! So far I have looked through the thumbnails, clicking on places of particular interest. St John, New Brunswick is a big coincidence because I have a great internet friend from Fotki living there and she is always posting photos from the area. For instance, I knew about the Reversing Falls because she has an album on them! Next thing will be a slide show and by then I'll have a pretty fair idea of the ones I want to get up separately and linger over. This has been a great idea and you are fortunate that all these cards were in colour - I have a 1" thick pile of cards from my travelling days in England but they are all black/white and/or sepia. But you have given me an idea, all the same! Thanks for your interest in my Aussie snowfields album - I am gradually working my way through all my old slides and scanning in a few here and there. Many thanks for the link to this album and also for the link to the Crackenback webcam - it'll be night time there now so I'll look at it in the morning. Tattibye for now and catch you again soon. Hugs, Peter

Hi Judy, Wheww this album was a lot of work and what a fabulous job you did on it. A lot of wonderful places are represented here. You can imagine my surprise when I saw Saint John here, it made me a bit homesick eeeing my hometown. Many treasured memories and now in a place where you can often travel through the years! Hugs Leslie

Hi Judy - This is a great idea, and as has been said, represents a lot of work on your part. I plan to look at all the postcards, but wanted to thank you for your congrats on my photo in the Climate Change Collection - I never would have known it was there if you hadn't said something. Off to a wedding today (isn't everyone?), but will be back to see more! Cheers, Lynne

Hi Judy, quite a collection of post cards! The thought of collecting post cards from the places I have visited had never entered my mind, but it makes great sense. Were these actually mailed or did you just keep them as souvenirs? I must say that they seem in wonderful shape. Best wishes from a slightly moist Cape Coral, Paul. P.S. Thank you for your wonderful and numerous comments on my Grand Teton album.
