Hi Peter, I really enjoyed this album very much. I wish I was visiting Western Australia with the camera I've got now. All the best, Rob

Hi Pete - need another cup of coffee, methinks! reread my message, and I see this old brain got confused over loose and lose! Regards, Margaret.down-under.

Hello Peter (and Betty too), although you don't know me, I have come upon your work when surfing WS this morning. My attention was taken by your black cockatoo photos, so I looked up Carnaby Cockatoos in google. What a striking bird it is! It would be a shame indeed for Australia to loose such beautiful and significant bird as this. All the best for a marvellous and happy New Year - from across the Continent = Margaret down-under. Qld.Au. PS: We've actually had rain - from that low that moved down the coast and is still hanging around Frazer Isl. I think. We are actually 170ks inland from Mackay, Qld., over the Eton Range, up in the coalfields, and don't get the rain that Mackay gets, but the low was big and strong enough to blow some our way!

Wonderful shots ! We have so many of these birds feeding in our garden too, it's a great sight each day. You have the Green Parrot which we don't and we have two pairs of Cockatoos that come too. Love your photos and so glad you're a bird lover too.

What a great album! I, too, envy you such beautiful visitors as I must be content with sparrows and the like. A parrot stopped by once. Must have been someone's pet since they are not native to California. Thanks for sharing your birds! ...Regina

Great album, I love the birds. Really amazing varieties, so different then what I see at home. I love the wagtail, it reminds me of an old movie. The honey bird was neat too, really bright markings

Hi Peter. I envy you having these beautiful birds visiting your garden. I haven't had a garden since 1991 (now in an apartment). I did get to see some rainbow lorikeets at close range just recently though & that was a real thrill. Love the album.

PETE, WHAT A GREAT COLLECTION YOU HAVE HERE, I LOVE BIRS AND AND WILDLIFE SO MUCH IF I HAD MORE ROOM I WOULD TAKE IN ALL THE STRAYS AROUND, AS A CHILD MY FATHER USED TO TELL ME IF I FOUND AN ELEPHANT WALKING THE STREETS I WOULD PROBABLY BRING IT HOME WITH ME. YOU ARE SO LUCKY TO HAVE ALL THESE EXOTIC BIRDS COME TO VISIT YOU. KIND REGARDS SANDRA

Peter, these were all so wonderful! It's so impressive that not only do they live in your area, but that they seem to come to you to be photographed! I figure either it's the excellent food you put out or perhaps they know of your former profession (hey birds, I hear there's a topnotch portrait photographer living here - let's go visit him!) and come by for pure vanity reasons! But seriously - am sure you know how blessed you are, in so many things. Thankyou for sharing the blessings through your photography. ~Sue

Peter, how lucky you are to be able to sit back, relax, and let all these lovely birds come visiting you! Of course, you have taken great advantage of this and produced this fabulous album. The black cockatoo is truly beautiful, so are the male and female Galahs, so the Magpies...I could go on. Great pictures. Thank you so much for sharing this. Best wishes, Suresh

Hey Pete, I'm so glad to be the first...brilliant collection of W.A. birds...the Red Tailed Black Cockatoo is one of my favourites...We have lots of Galah's in the area but they tend to favour large grassy areas and do not visit our garden...the Green Parrot is gorgeous..I am not familiar with him..looks like a cousin of the Rainbow Lorikeet?..I'm so pleased to see you still have Blue Wrens and Willy Wagtails..they have all but disappeared from these parts...take care, my friend, Helen...
