I have travled this route many times. It's beauty is second only to Yosemite, the crown jewel of the national parks and you have captured it very well.

I really enjoyed this album. Being on a limited income this is a good way to travel when you really can't afford to do so.

Sharon, I am simply overwhelmed at the beauty you have captured. The white sands, the Grand Canyon, the Sonora Park etc. are truly National Treasures, and you have done full justice to them by your fabulous photography. I immensely enjoyed this album and sat rivetted to the chair. Thank you, my friend, for sharing this. Best wishes, Suresh

Love all your pics, especially the White Sands shots, I visited White Sands many years ago. We got there not long after sunup before the heat and bright sun. The restless winds had blown away all tracks and was like at creation, not even a bird overhead.THANKS!

Great album Sharon, you have shown me areas of USA we have not had chance to visit. Love the white sand photos & the GC was actually clear of smog for you. We could barely see the other side from Nth rim & there were notices up about the pollution.

A beautiful trip. So many wonderful places, many I have been to. I grew up in Tucson and spend a fair amount of time in both Flagstaff and New Mexico. Your album brought me home. I've never stopped at the painted desert, always wanted to get through the 40 as quick as possible. A lovely place that I will have to make the effort for sometime. Sedona and the Senoran Desert Museum are two of my absolute favorite places in AZ.

Hi Sharon! Beautiful album. This area is always so serene looking to me. You can look for miles and see no one, I guess that is why. Your colors and compositions in this album are outstanding. I watched the slide show and didn't really get to comment,I was writing down the numbers of the ones to comment on then I noticed I was almost writing down everyone, so I stopped that, but will go back through, and comment on my favorites. I love the framing of your shots, using the natural landscape. Well done, and I am happy you finally just took the time and got this one done, I know how busy you stay. Very enjoyable. Hugs, Susie

Sharon, Thanks for posting this album. It has gotten me excited again about my upcoming vacation. Ellen and I will be retracing many of your steps in late October visiting Sedona, Grand Canyon, Monument Valley (that's the one I'm really looking forward to), Canyon de Chelly (I'm also looking forward to that one) and the Petrified Forest/Painted Desert. For our stay in Grand Canyon we have managed to rent a cabin on the rim of the Grand Canyon inside the park. That should really be nice. For Monument Valley, I have already left a deposit with a Navajo guide for sunrise/sunset photo shoots. MV is not national park lande but is Navajo land and they make the rules. The park is closed to the public before 8 AM and after 4:30 PM (in summer the park stays open until 6:30). The only way to get in for sunrise and sunset photography is with a Navajo guide. Aside from trying to get the photo hotspots at sunrise and sunset most of my trip will be planned using Frommer's. If there was anything that you especially liked and think that Ellen and I should do, I would love to hear about it. Regards, Ira

Hi Sharon, Kaethi Oertli sent me the link to this new album and I'm so glad she did. It is just fabulous! I know you told me you were disappointed not to see more cactus flowers, but it seems like you got photos of quite a few. As I mentioned under one photo, the cactus just do not all bloom at the same time. My cactus flower shots are taken at all different times. Thank you for sharing this amazing trip and all the spectacular sights along the way. Carole

Hi Sharon and Bob...I am so glad you like the Grand Canyon because then we get to see lots of beautiful shots. The views are amazing. I like the whole album. Its great to see the cactus and the beautiful flowers and the river through the Grand Canyon and the white sands. Did you go to the observation area that is all glass and above the canyon? Great album. hugs and love, Barbara

Sharon & Bob, what can I say? I've said it all several times I think. Great job with this album. I think I liked the photos at the Painted Desert & Petrified Forest better than all the others. You got some great colors in those pictures. None of mine had that kind of color. It is many years since we went to the southwest but I have always been one to appreciate the beauty found there. While mountains are still my thing I always enjoyed the desert too. I watched the slide show & it sure brought back many memories. Lots of hugs, Flo

My dear friend Sharon and Bob. I wached your album carfuly and I liked him very much. You brought me back to Arizona desert I remember few yeras ago at my second trip to this place. The truth is that this desert is sometimes boring, as you have to drive for hours to cach a nice spot worth a photo cach. I droved twice for days with my wife anf friends from Las Vagas to Zion park and the grand canyon . ( On 1984 and 1998 ) I have to say that on the way I found wonderful spots for photos, but your album showed me points I never payed atention . This is a great album my friends. Greetings from Israel - RAN

Hi Sharon and Bob! We looked forward to this Southwest album since weeks... It's a great gift for us, as we got in love with these wonderful deserts many years ago! Thanks so much! You have a great collection of excellent shots, fantastic views of the most wonderful places to visit...! We will come back to this album soon, it's such a rich collection that we can't enjoy all at a time! Hugs and love, Henri and Kaethi
