Beste Tjebbe! What a beautiful tour of Giethoorn and a trip down the memory lane! I live 5 years in the Netherlands and I visited Giethoorn twice in the early 90s. I rented a small boat to make the tour, but the weather was not as beautiful as in your pictures! Thank you so much for posting this album and also for your nice comments on my pics! Hallo Tjebbe, wat een heerlijk album heb je hier, ons Giethoorn, ik heb er heel wat uren ver bracht in mijn jeugd, toen we met klas 6 van de lagere school naar "samen een "gingen.Ik mis even de wieden in je reportage,maar wat je hier laat zien is ook prachtig. wat zijn het toch nette huizen en tuinen, niet? erg leuk.

Hee, Tjebbe, waren we bij elkaar in de buurt! Ik ben nog met een bootje onderweg geweest van Kampen naar Giethoorn, maar we werden overvallen door slecht weer... Mooi album, zeker als je na de film Fanfare nooit meer iets van Giethoorn hebt gehoord of gezien.
