Album Description:

My Webshot friends, Sharon and Marion, both suggested that I put these sunrise photographs in a slideshow. I would never have thought of doing this on my own; so this album is dedicated to them. Sharon and Marion are wonderfully talented people.

  • Thanks for signing my guestbook 20 days ago. I have not been close to a computer this year. Great idea to make a slide show of the same sunrise! Faul

  • I HATE TO BE DUMB BUT WHERE ARE THESE SHOTS TAKEN? I SEE THE SAME SUN, JUST OUT HERE IN NEW MEXICO OVER THE MOUNTAINS OF RUIDOSO. THE CLOUDS ADD SO MUCH TO YOUR GOOD PHOTOS!I LOVE THESE! THE EVER CHANGING TIDE REMINDS ME OF THE BIBLICAL QUOTE THAT GOES SOMETHING LIKE THIS...."ALL THE RIVERS RUN TO THE SEA, YET THE SEA IS NOT FULL..." I THINK IT IS IN ECCLESIASTES. THANKS FOR SHOWING THESE!

  • Thanks so much Clark for this beautiful album. I just watched the whole thing on the slideshow and loved every frame. Although numbers 14, 16, 21, 45, 58, 61 and 72 were my very favorites and will probably end up on my desktop. I agree with Sharon, I loved it when you stepped back and captured the reflections on the sand. A thing of beauty. I never witness anything like this without remembering that God created this incredible beauty for us to enjoy and care for. So this is my quote from Genesis 1, verses 1 through 10. KJV 1.In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.2. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 3. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 4. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. 5. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. 6. And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. 7. And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. 8. And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day. 9. And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. 10. And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.

  • Kealohapumehana Clark, Mahalo A nui loa, thank you so very much for this!! I have viewed the slideshow with my Webshots desktop software set up as a scroll every 2 seconds as it displays the full size image and it was so wonderful!! I loved the ones where you stepped back a bit from the shorebreak and I can see the bubbles and sky colours and reflections in the wet sand! The sunset is very beautiful!!! Thank you so much for taking the time to set this up and the lovely dedication!! I wish you a sparkling day and I do hope all is well with you and that the hurricane Flossie passes you by!! And now I would like to add a comment on each of your images with quotes from The Hawai'ian Book of Days, I do hope you enjoy them! Aloha! Sharon

  • Sharon was right you needed to post all of the pictures. I kind of think that you aren't through yet because you said you took 80 pictures and the sun has just begun to peek through the horizon in #19. This album has to be viewed via the slideshow to get the full benefit. Thanks Clark. I await further additions to it. But I beat Sharon in being the first to comment. tee hee.....Marion
