La Spezia Festa del Mare Fireworks 2007

Hon, you never cease to amaze me with the albums you shoot. I so love your scenic Italy, and of course Canada too, but these night shots right in your own home town of La Spezia was a very fun album to watch. You are an excellent photographer of night shots. I loved ALL the photos, I just didn't write on all of them, you would get tired of my mails, lol. Well done, excellent effects, great colors and timing,,,,,it's all in the timing with fireworks, something I haven't mastered. Thanks for sharing your beautiful evening, it truly gave the feeling of a warm August evening sitting on the bay anticipating the fireworks. My dear Paolo, this is the most beautiful fireworks album I ever seen until now! Amazing shots, perfectly captured, great ability to play with the movement and with the light, good compositions! Even the way you arranged the photos inside the album! Start and close with horizontal shots and fill with verticals. Amazing! Not only composition, technique too! Wonderful! La tua bravura riesce sempre a stupirmi. Bellissimi gli effetti sull'acqua! Le foto hanno un alone di magia... sono così nitide e perfette! - Paola (Proprio oggi e' la festa di San Rocco, il patrono di Serra Ricco'. Ho sospeso di guardare i fuochi di La Spezia per andare sul terrazzino a guardare quelli di Pedemonte. La cosa mi ha fatto sorridere...)

Ciao Paolo, questo album e' spettacolare. E' il miglior album di fuochi d'artificio che io abbia visto qui su W/s! Belli i fuochi ma sorprendenti gli scatti! Oh, Paolo! Thank you for sharing this spectacular album. The shots are magnificent! Fireworks are very special to me! I will share this with a friend! One day I will tell you my story of fireworks. You will like it. How I would have loved to be there to watch them in person. But what a great job you did with the night photos and capturing the brilliance of the fireworks. There are several I would like to download to my screensaver set and when I feturn to do that, I'll put some comments on photos. This is because it's already almost 2 a.m. I had a very long day and I want to spend the proper time to view this album at a liesurely pace. Now this is a Fireworks show I would love to go and shoot. I only managed to get to a small Country Fair FREE show with meager amounts of Fireworks. The practice using Burst on the camera was really helpful, even if most of the pics. are not ; Maybe next year ;-) Charley

Hi Paolo. I just viewed this entire album as a slide show. Wow, what a spectacular fireworks show! You are fantastic at capturing fireworks. I was able to do it fairly well with an old camera about 15 years ago, but now that I have a digital camera, it's all new to me and I haven't got the hang of it yet. But I will eventually!
