  • Hi Peter. Thanks for your recent comments! I love this album. It's great! I'm known as "InnerTraveler" over at Fotki, so we already know each other. Great to see your photos over here too. :-) ~ Shelley

  • Where to start?! This was such fun to watch as a slide show! I loved the white bird in the photo "Touchdown" - that was really a masterpiece Peter. But they ALL are! And the gnome - of course you would have a garden gnome. The birds were quite comfortable with him too, weren't they. And Betty was allowed to be so close. Perhaps her lovely sweater matched them closely enough that they thought "here's another beautiful bird, we'll let her stay as long as she doesn't eat too much" - ha! Your captions left me laughing each time. ~Sue

  • Hi Peter. How are you? Keeping well I hope. I have looked at most of the pics here but I am at work....a quiet spell....and have run out of time. I will pop back and finish the album later at home. You have some super pics here of those lovely birds. I've not been that lucky myself taking bird shots. Can never get close enough. I need a good telescopic lens! Well Done! Take care Peter. Chesca.x

  • Hello Peter - I love your new album of our cute backyard visitors - they certainly make lovely subjects to photograph - thanks for your message and yes we finally got some rain - the poor people a little north of where I am got too much - but here - well we are still on level 5 restrictions and the rain just put off level 6 for 3 months - so we could do with a lot more. - will keep in touch - cheers Connie

  • This was a great album. Full of great shots and humor. Loved the captions. It is difficult to only choose three some weeks. I ended up feeling compelled to start a new album of Old Salem because I didn't feel my 3 did my day justice. Keep shooting so we can keep viewing. Wentzi

  • G'day mate - you really made my morning(or your evening) with this wonderful album. I am goin' through a really bad miss-australia-spill at the moment! Mike was scheduled to come to Perth and Melbourne next month, I had even pondered coming along...now they cancelled his trip...and I am just a BIT on the sad side (as I sit here and weep puddles, sniff, sniff...:(...Well I've always got your albums, right? Big hugs from Texas .Marita

  • Hi Peter, thanks for the invitationx. Lovely shotsx of all the activity in your yardx. Hey, what's with all the x's, are these shots X rated, and do I need special glasses to view themx? Have you put up breeding boxes for your visitors? I hope you can keep an open mind about Federations Square; I thought it was a monstroscity, but it's a marvel. Cheers, Keith.

  • Thank you so much for these entertaining, delightful and amusing photos Peter. We have had a great time.Your shots are fantastic and we enjoyed your commentry.Unfortunately,w e no longer invite the Galahs. Two cats have put a stop to the invites.Rainbows and Scaly Breasted parrots come but they are so different to Galahs and our cats don't bother with them at all.So many good photos that we don't have a favourite but loved the pic of Betty with her friends.Warm Golden Hugs,Bev and Del.

  • Wonderful album Peter, we are so lucky we live in this amazing Country and that these gorgeous birds choose to share our lives. Our Rainbow Lorikeets are breeding at present and are eating us out of house and home...take care, my friend, Helen.
