The first leg of our trip to Grand Canyon to celebrate the BIG birthday. I lived for a while in Flagstaff as a child, and I always enjoy coming back to this wonderful small town along Route 66.

Choo, Choo! I can hear the trains rolling through town now! I love Flagstaff, but the only time we stayed there the motel was right across the street from the railroad tracks and we got very little sleep! :-) I'll be back to enjoy this album and your others from your birthday celebration as soon as time permits. I just finished mowing the lawn and I'm trying to cool down so I don't have a heat stroke! I guess you know all about hot weather though! Hugs, Sharon

Thanks Carole for these wonderful photos! I went through Flagstaff back in 1981 (I think it was).
