Jacques, this is, indeed, a very impressive album of the palace. I never knew of its existence until I saw your excellent album. The empress Sissi was not just beautiful, but had extraordinarily good taste to create something like this; it is also poignant that she had to face tragedy of losing her son in her early life, and finally, an end of catastrophical dimensions. Hello Jacques, a facinatinf & interesting album for me. A gorgeous palace that you have done justice to. Empress Elzabeth has crossed my path as well, as in my 'winter seaside resort album' from Cromer on Norfolk coast there is a photo of the pink house she stayed in at Cromer for 2 months. Cromer was then a fashionable resort but obviously more 'bracing' than Corfu! She was paranoid about assains even then. Eric
