I had to come back and visit this beautiful place again and I feel like I've been on a wonderful holiday with water the color of sapphires and sunsets to take your breath away - and I haven't even left home to go there!! I've been to Amorgos on my first backpacker trip all over the Greek islands in 1985. Since that time, I returned to the Aegean Sea about 15 times, but never again to Amorgos - what a shame! I always remembered Amorgos as a very beautiful, quiet and typical place, far away from the big crowd. I'm delighted to see it is still the same!
