  • Thank you for taking me on a journey around this magnificent structure. It is very humbling and I sincerely wish you and your country peace and tranquility.

  • Shalom Aharon, I have visited with you the splendid city of Gerusalemme... Memory who did not say that all the people are for the peace, and no government it is. Creed that had reason. I hope so as well as that soon there is peace and serene life for all and that all succeed that, as Ghandi said, eye for eye renders only all the world blind. This is the augury that I truly feel to make all: peace - Paola ( hope that the English translate with Internet is comprehensible, I have always fear when I write something longer...)

  • Shalom Aharon, I've made a visit to Webshots and came across this album... A very interesting tour! It's amazing how so many fascinating things there are in and around the Old City. I saw in your albums many places that I walked nearby, but never actually been there. I haven't made a full circle around the Old City since my childhood. Thank you for this beautiful album, and for always spreading the light. I could write some more about Webshots problems with captions and some other issues, but this seems quite minor after reading your message above. So I will finish by wishing you and Yehudit SHANA TOVA, and Peace and Love to us all. Orly

  • The walls of the Old City of Jerusalem were cut from the limestone rock on which the city rests. Soft and porous, the stone has absorbed the elements of the earth for thousands of years. Along with rain and sun, dust blown from Africa and snow sent from Europe and Asia, these walls have also absorbed the thoughts and emotions of countless believers in the Sacred and Holy, and the blood and tears of the generations who died trying to possess or hold on to the place. But the days of possessing at the expense of others must come to an end. It is time for these walls to bring people of all faiths together, not to keep them apart. So as you take this counter-clockwise walk around the Old City Walls we ask you to direct your heart and your thoughts to the bringing of Peace to Jerusalem. Visualize a city where its inhabitants are joined in a mutual embrace of understanding and respect. Your prayers matter more than you can ever imagine. Help us heal the city holy to all the Children of Abraham. With Light for the city of Jerusalem, we thank all of you for participating in this effort.
