Yes, the village of La Garde Guerin on the Regordane way is very old, about 1000 years, and was fortified in XII century. Few people live here in winter, but in summer this is a very touristic place. The streets are deserted on the album because it was very early in the morning. You have here again a wonderful album on magical Iceland! Fantastic sceneries full of magnificent naturel beauty, nicely captured, a delight for eyes! Thanks for sharing with us this great place. Dear Yair, your travel to Iceland was very interesting. Your photography c/w absolutely wonderful personal observations are something to treasure and values. And you know very good that behind every taken photo is the story to be told especially while traveling across Iceland! I wish to have more time and to be more present among the webshots friends. Although I’m retired but my consulting project takes my free time to much at this moment. Good evening dear Yair. At last I found some time to view your interesting and beautiful album properly. I can sure understand that you want to go there again. You have managed to show the landscape there in the best possible way through your lens. We have had at last a little bit Summer here the last weeks, but this late at year it only means between 12-15 degrees but its better than wind or rain all the time.And now we have to wait at least 7-8 months for the next chance to little summer-warmth. Yair, one thing I freely concede: you have seen a lot more of Iceland than I had. Your photographs of the various places and sights are simply superb, be it Landsmannalaugar, the various volcanic ponds, the volcanic area, or just sumply the flowers.
