  • Shalom Aharon, trust that you and Yehudit are keeping well. Enjoyed my visit to Jerusalem. Thanks for sharing these images. Would like to see it live one day.... the "wailing wall" image is very amazing, as well as touching - I had no idea the wall is so huge. Thank you again for sharing. Do take care, Chris

  • I was there in 1999. I went inside the Dome of the Rock also. I hope to be able to do it again.

  • Hello Aharon and Yehudit, what a beautiful album this is! I very much enjoyed the peacefulness of this place which is seen so well in your pictures. The night shots are remarkable!! The picture of the Western Wall is cut down in the slideshow to bricks only! How much people miss looking at the slideshow, only! It is fantastic in full size! Wow. I went to full size to see if it is Sepia or not - okay it is not! It wouldn't look much different in Sepia :-) A magical capture! It shows the dimensions very well and impressive! But I came to wish you Shana Tova and all the best, especially health and happiness! :-) Take care! - Galit

  • The Temple Mount, located on Mt. Moriah in Jerusalem's Old City, is the holiest site in Judaism. It is the place, according to the Bible, where Abraham offered to sacrifice is son, Isaac, to fulfill God's commandment. It is the place where both the 1st and 2nd Temples once stood. It is called the Noble Sanctuary by Muslims and is the present day site of the Dome of the Rock and Al Aqsa Mosques. The Temple Mount is one of, if not the most, contested spots on the planet. There is no measuring the amount of blood spilled over centuries in an effort to control this small hill believed to hold sacred power. Putting religion and politics aside, if that is at all possible, the Temple Mount, at times of quiet, is a place of incredible beauty and peacefulness. It was during one of those increasingly rare occasions when these photos were taken.
